[Resolved]  Tamil Nadu Electricity Board — Very Very poor service and redressal of grievance by officials

We were told to visit the nearby Royapettah Electricity Board office and meet an official to submit our application to convert from commercial to domestic electricity usage charges. Saturday being the only day we can afford to visit the office, we went on saturday at 11:30am and the person told us to get owner's signature even though we informed that he is bed-ridden and very unwell. Still we managed to get the signature somehow and visited the office and he was missing from his seat, we were told to come back at 3:3pm or so as he had gone for lunch at 12:30pm. When we went again at 3:30pm, after waiting for 30 minutes when we enquired we were told that he has left for the day as he has gone to inspect some electricity problem. This is very unprofessional and very customer unfriendly behavior. We wish to know who we can escalate the problem and submit our application smoothly so next bill comes properly.
