[Resolved]  Tata Indica Vista — Delay in providing spareparts and delayed service

Hi,



I bought a Indica Vista Aura Quadrajet. It met with an accident and gave it to Malik Motors, Shaikpet Nala, Towlichoki road, Hyderabad on 22nd of September. Damage was assessed and I was told that front left lower arm is damaged along with tyre, rim and wheel cap. They placed order on the same day i.e 22nd September. But till date all the parts are not received. I am not driving my car because of the delay in fixing the problem.



Yesterday when I enquired with the spare parts manager he showed me a Mail chain showing why the delay has happened.


It is really pathetic situation that the spare parts could not delivered as the part IDs are not known or the CRM-DMS system does not accept them. A customer is put at stake and they kept communicating just for correct ID.



This is a very bad customer service I am experiencing.



Even the quality of the vehicle is very bad. List of items are



1) Tail gate (dickey) cannot be opened with the key.

2) Dashboard is more inclined to the right

3) AC is not effective

4) Poor Mileage

5) Panel gap on left-hand side between the seat and the door. Right side is fine.

6) Rear wiper does not work

7) Front driver inner door handle comes out when one pulls the door hardly.

8) Power steering is not good.



Hope you guys Understand that 16 days is too long just for the spares to arrive and not sure how long will it again take to fix.



This kind of experience leaves a very bad remark not only on Tata but also on the vehicle make Vista which intern will affect its sale.

indica vista — delay service

I brougt one indica vista from HYSON MOTORS FROM TRISSUR AT KERALA, im not satisfiedfor their service, now im finished 5000km, but i visited the service center five tims,
i purchase indica vista tdi it is not workin propery dealers have not spares parts from last 10 days my radatior fan is faulty but ur dealer could not arrange till date
yes tata motor dealers are not maintaing spare parts.When asked about the specific time duration for the deleivery of the spares they are not sure. I think because the most of the parts of the vehicle are arranged on outsourcing basis tata is just assembling them.The problem becomes more worse when the spares are not available in the open market.At time when economy is opening up.world is compettetive its frusrating to see the monolpoly of companies like tata, which allows only their dealers to repair the vehicles and keep the spares.For the benefit of customers the genuine spares of the vehicles should be allowed to be sold in the open market.I request the forum to take some necesary action on this front because it is the genuine problem faced by car owners, irrespective of the companies from which they have purchased the car.
To be more specific i have purchased a tata indica vista quadrajet 2 months back only, for some unknown reason, only god knows( as even the authorised dealer workshop are also not able to tell the cause), my vehicle's self starter assembly got burnt, leave alone the warranty, the people are not even sure of when they will be getting the parts though i am ready to pay for the spare(though car is under warranty
