[Resolved]  TATA Indicom Broadband Services — No service and money collected

Dear Sir/Madam,

Self is a subcriber to Tata Indicom Broadband connection under prepaid scheme & wired mode.

The Issue:

Over the past 1 month my connection has not been working or disrupted. Currently my account has a credit balance of about RS.2300/- & connection disrupted.

Inspite of repeated lodging of compliants with the call center[protected], local co-ordinators, there is no resolution to the problem.

Taking this up with the local franchisee (Anjum Enterprises & Anil Deshmukh) too has had no effect. From discussion with them, i understand they dont support Tata Indicom Broadband in the area & have plugged off the subscribers.

Your whole support team is dilly dallying on this serious issue and is not able to provide restoration of services. The Wi-Max offer is not acceptable to me since it will work out expensive @ minimum Rs.1000/- per month & reduced speed of <= 1 GB. (Currently i get 2 GB)

From the call center in Andheri Office, some representative offered to refund the amount & confirm on the amount 4 days back. There is no response.

i m deeply disappointed with the disgusting services offered by the trustworthy TATA Brand. Its shocking to see the blatant careless attitude & empty promises by your ground staff.

Since its difficult & impossible to negotiate with local cable /franchisee operators (who are mostly anti social elements of society), i request you to help me refund my amount paid at the earliest.

i trust this mail will put remedial measures in action at the soonest

Tata Indicom Wi-Max Broadband connection — Non refund of money

Hi All,

I applied for tata indicom WI-Max broadband connection on 5th June'08 in my name Jaya Laxmi.My application number is A11392389.I paid a sum of 2124/- Rs.and my address & identity proof and a photograph, along with the application form.
On 7th of June'08 a tata indicom engineer visted my house, checked for internet connectivity and said due to high risen buildings around he cant find signal there and gave me "Wi-Max non installation confirmation report" (
enquiry no.- 571433
pos/caf no[protected]
saying i will get my amount returned in next two days.
First i had so much loss of my office work as i had to work from home and i trusted these guys and thought that i will get internet connection on 7th itself.And now if i apply for any other connection it takes another 14 days time.
If there was some signal problem the tata indicom person should have told me before applying for it but instead they gave me a call on 4th June'08 and told me that after feasibility test they found there is a good connectivity and they will send their representative to my office and i shud give him 2124/- Rs.

Now it is already 12 days and evertime i call customer care for my money refund they give me a different answer.Previously when i registered a complaint[protected] they said i will get my money on 15th June'08 but today when i called them up they said you will be getting in another 15-20 days time.This is really ridiculous as we cant trace whom we had a talk before in customer care these people will be giving different explanations evertime just extending the date.
I asked them to return my identity, address proof document and photograph also along with money but they are saying it is not possible.Why i should leave my personal documents with them if i am not availing their services.
It is getting really difficult to keep track of when my money will be refunded as these people will give me a different answers every time i call them.
Please help me in getting my money and documents back asap.
