[Resolved] Tata Indicom — Atrocity of Tata Indicom | |
To, The Consumer Forum Sir this is Abhishek Kumar from Ranchi, Jharkhand. The atrocity of Telecom Company compelled me to drop a to complain you. Sir I have purchased a recharge voucher of Rs. 50 from True value Shoppe of Tata Indicom. The sales personnel told me that you get Rs 150 talk time, which can be, used for calling local Tata Indicom numbers and the same scheme is printed on recharge voucher. I bought two-recharge voucher and when I recharge my account with that RCV then my account is credited with 150 minutes talk time for calling local Tata Indicom numbers instead of Rs. 150 worth 1500minutes. When I enquire about this from customer care executive he told me that the scheme is over. I agree that the scheme is over but I would like to know if scheme is over then why the True value Shoppe of Tata Indicom selling that RCV and why they have not provided me update information about the scheme. The second thing is that on RCV it is printed in clear words recharge with this voucher and get Rs.150 for calling local Tata Indicom numbers and the validity of that voucher is up to 2010. Then what is the meaning of validity? This is the example absolute atrocity of Telecom Company. It is not only me a no of my friends having the same complain. I'm Harish Kumar, registering my complaint against Tata Indicom. I have purchased a Tata Indicom Internet Card Card Sim detailed as below
Tata Indicim No- [protected]
A/c no[protected]
This no. was never activated and In spite of regular follow ups with Tata indicom Executive Sunil Kumar ( Mob No- [protected] ) and got an assurance that it will be activated soon. I got a bill[protected] of Rs bill of Rs 1105/ ( 05/09/09 ) and one more bill of Rs 5254/ dated 05/01/09 to 04.02/09.
Finally Tata Indicom executive came to meet me and agreed upon the mistake which Tata Indicom did. The number mentioned behind the sim card was A000000AF2604D which was physically handed over to me by Tata indicom executive and in Tata indicom records it was A000000AF2605D ( in my name)which was phisically given to some other person who was using tata indicom was adressed to me. All bills in other person's name was adressed to me.
This mistake was accepted by Tata indicon executive. Finally I have deactivated that sim card
Finally I got a call from Patila House cort against this problem.
I had made complaint to all regional heads /legal heads regarding this problem. I spoke to
Mr Bishwas- [protected]
Mr Rajeev Bali-[protected]
both are Tata indicom employees
I called them at least 10 times and every time got assurance of closing my case. But till date nothing has happened. Again I am getting call from Patila court against this .
These things are quite harassing. In case this problem is not sorted out I will put complaint in TRAI and consumer court against Tata Indicom.

This is Madhu Sudhan Rao.M, Assistant Professor of English. My mobile No. is [protected]. I recharged an voucher for Rs.75 this afternoon (i.e.[protected]. My transaction Id was[protected]. However I didn’t receive the amount.
To my astonishment, when I called the customer care executive, he gave me an improper reply and said there‘s nothing in his hands(conclusion of the talk).
He said,
• That voucher was for night talk time
• It’s not a top up voucher
• He was helpless
I received an sms before I recharged. It is as follows:
Recharge minimum with Rs.75in next 5days & get 25min extra local T2T talk time & 25 local SMS free for 15 days within 5days. Not valid for pay per call users.
So, tell me why my amount was retained? That executive cut the phone line. When I called back again some other came into phone line. This time the executive turned out very smart. He cleverly cheated me. He said that amount was added to my number. I believed him but in vain.
When I again tried the phone line at 9pm the option for talking to executive was blocked.
This is how Tata Indicom (you) are cheating the customers. This is a great humiliation. I need my top up amount. If not I’ll proceed further
