[Resolved]  Tata Indicom — HANDSET

THIS COMPLAINT IS REDARDING HANDSET(WALKY TALKY) WHICH I PURCHASED FROM A DEALER ON 11AUG2008 AND THAT HANDSET WAS NOT WORKING(IT USED TO FREEZE AND HANG WHILE MAKING CALLS AND EVEN THE SETWAS NOT GETTING CHARGED) FROM THE FIRST DAY ITSELF, I RETURNED IT TO THE DEALER BUT HE SAID " IT ONLY NEEDS TO BE REFRESHED " AND HE RETURNED THAT SET BUT STILL ISSUE WAS NOT RESOLVED AND AFTER THAT WHEN I AGAIN COMPLAINED HIM HE SAID GIVE ME THE SET I WILL SEND IT TO THE SERVICE CENTRE AND HE TOOK ALMOST MORE THEN 20DAYS TO RETURN THAT SET AND EVEN THEN THE SET WAS NOT WORKING, I CALLED CUSTOMER CARE ABT 8 TO 10 TIMES AND COMPLAINED ABT THE DEALER AND DISTRIBUTER BUT EVERYTIME THEY SAY" WE WILL CALL U BACK IN NEXT 48HOURS "AND WHEN I CALLED THEM AGAIN THEY SAID THEY WANT A JOBSHEET NO.AND WITH OUT THAT THEY CANNOT DO ANYTHING, AND I WENT TO THE DEALER AGAIN FOR THE JOBSHEET NO.BUT THE DEALER SAID WE HAVE SEND SET TO DISTRIBUTOR'S SERVICE CENTRE AND THEY DON'T HAVE JOBSHEET NO.AT LAST I GOT A CALL FROM TATA INDICOM AND THEY SAID U WILL GET THE REPAIRED SET TOMORROW WHICH WAS NOT TRUE AND AGAIN I GOT A CALL FROM THE COMPANY AND THEY ASKED ME TO PAY THE BILL AND WHEN I REFUSED IT THEY SAID OK WE WILL REPLACE THE SET THEN AT LAST I GOT A SET AFTER COMPLETE TWO MONTHS WHICH HAS A BATTERY PROBLEM AND DOESN'T HAVE ANY CHIP/SIM BCOZ OF THAT WE R NOT ABLE TO MAKE AND RECIEVE ANY CALLS AND I AGAIN CALLED CUSTOMER CARE BUT CALL WAS NOT GETTING CONNECTED BCOZ THEY CLOSED MY NO.AND WHEN I RETURNED THAT SET TO THE DEALER AND COMPLAINED ABT THAT SET " HE SAID IT WILL GET ACTIVATED FROM CHANDIGARH AND TATA INDICOM CALLS ME AGAIN AND AGAIN FOR THE BILL AND WHEN I SAY THAT MY SET IS STILL NOT WORKING, IT STILL HAVE BATTERY PROBLEM THEY DON'T LISTEN AND SAY WE WILL CALL U BACK AND MY ISSUE IS STILL NOT RESOLVED AND IT'S MORE THEN 2MONTHS .
