Tata Indicom/Photon+ — Devise activation not done.
Pasted below the e-mail I received when I gave Rs 3500 for a Photon Plus. Its pathetic that customet has to give cash on his own risk and the executive will go to office and send a recipt e-mail. I was comitted by the executive that installation will be done within 48 hours. But no body turned back and received arrogant and abusive response from the executives when called back.Now its 5 days since I bought the devise and still no response. Call centers doesn't give choice for complaint...!
Already we have to mak other arrangement for the presentation of my wife's business and had to spent huge money for that.
Considering the TATA's cheap customer commitment, mony I lost and the emotional torture I went through I demand TATA to pay me back 10 time of the devise cost(Rs 35000) and activate my devise ASAP.
Also I request TATA to stop cheating other customers and avoid having such non-professional executives.
Hope Ratan will consider my as his customer...

further to this they have to be booked for deficiency in service and giving false information to sell their product.
Same experience. We bought 2 connections paying Rs.3500 each. The Franchisee M/s.Spectrum Services, Bangalore. They promised activation within 24 hours and a week passed sinced they encashed our cheque, now they are not interested even to call us. All promises made have been forgotten. We have spent more than Rs.300/- in phone calls. Always TA TA BYE BYE to Photon + Spectrum Services does not want us to know their office address even. That is costmer service for you. We are left with 2 nos.Photon+ nice looking devices . We spend our time looking at them!!!
TATA Indicom — Photon Whiz not activated since 1 month
I have purchased a Tata Indicom Photon Whiz USB Modem and I was told that it would be activated in 48 hours.But its already 1 month and it is not still activated.
I purches tata photan. first twodays it's connect net. After its not cnnect internet.

TATA Indicom — Device not activated since last 20 days
I bought a tata Indicom USB Modem from Warjae on 31.05.2010.since theses day my card has not been activated as per the direction from them i had contacted Fc Road Tata Office and Paud Road Office. After that i had submitted my paper of residential proof but still the date they had activated my internet connection.Please look in thisRajesh Philip

Tata Indicom/Photon+ — Non-performance
I have paid Rs.3500 for the modem. I was told that it was much better than the BSNL Broadband service I have, and it gives me mobility. It is seriously deficient. It cannot support any video news channel, any radio channel, any internet telephony, any video-conferencing, the use of webcam, youtube, etc. etc. I was told before buying this product that it did all these things effortlessly. The technicians from Tata Indicom tried and failed to fix any of the abovementioned deficiencies. Now they are adamently refusing to give my money back, On top of that they have sent me a bill for usage that I did not do. All the usage was by their engineers trying to fix the problem. The Photon+ modem was sold to me by lie and deception. I would like to get my Rs.3500 back.
