[Resolved]  Tata Motors — Defective Product

Respective Sir,

I wish to place before you the following matter in which defective TATA Indigo was provided to me by Tata motors.

I bought my Indigo LS (diesel version) in October 2004 (based on satisfactory results from my previous Indica which is still used by my cousin).

Since the day I bought my new car I was happy as it was manufactured by TATA - one of the TRUSTED COMPANY in INDIA.

But soon 2005 rainy season gave me the hint that I have received defective model. There was a water leakage from all the 4 doors and I had to change my Carpet along with the material below it. I sent it for servicing to Om Sai Motors (Kandivli (w)). I was told as I installed auto lock kit from third party shop, they have tampered the plastic membranes inside the door. But after servicing every rainy season the leakage problem did not resolve.

Now every year I spent Rs. 600/- to uninstall and install the carpet, as still I have the leakage problem.

In 2008 I tried Wasan motors, even they change the Plastic Membrane but the leakage was still there. In 2009 (June) I gave my car for door leakage and again they change the plastic membrane. Now when I got my car back there was a leakage from Boot part which was spoiling my rear seats along with door leakage which was yet to resolve. I was informed by Wasan motors that there is a corrosion problem and they need to change that particular part. They kept my car for one month and called me on one Sunday for to take the delivery. To my surprise my car was lying there without any repair work done. I spoke to Mr. Ankur (from TATA Motors) and he in turn asked me to speak Mr. Jaggi. But I found both of them irresponsible and no proper justification was given to me for keeping my car for a month.

I gave my car back to them for repairing and they charged me Rs. 11899/- for all the work and gave my car back in one week. I was surprise to see that water leakage still exist and when I informed Wasan for the same they were pointing (or blaming) other dept for that mistake.

In this last 5 years (almost) every year plastic membrane was changed and now some boot portion also but still the problem is not resolved. I have another Indigo CS purchased last year in my society but I cannot see any leakage problem in that car. I am spending money on this defective product which is still not resolved.

I want TATA motors to,

1) Refund the amount I spend on changing plastic membranes all these years as the problem still persist.
2) Take action against respective dealers and replace the product.

I do hope some action is taken against this complaint.

TATA BUS OVERHEATING

i'am a supervisor mechanic in construction company and we have 40 tata bus

the problem is the temporature gage reach the 100degree we repleced the water pump

viscos fan and the fan radiator and cylnder head gasket and we calibrated the injection pump

and we inspected the oil cooler and valve adjustment we replaced the thermostat we inspected

turbo charger and the problem for so mini one of tata bus please i need responding as soon as

posible of the this problem .

i purchased a car (safari gx) from Rama motors, delhi. they gave us a defective piece. Brand new car has a problem of music system, side mirrors, windows motors. they gave us a car without checking their parts. Tata motors commited to us for providing registrtion certificate and after the full payment, they refused. I have to give challans of without registartion certificate every time when i drive due to tata motors. so tata motors has to take immediiate action on my problem.
I BOUGHT A CAR ON[protected] AND THEY DELIVERED ME 2009 MODEL WHICH IS A CLEAR FRAUD TO ME . I HAVE ALREADY TOLD SOCIETY MOTORS OF KANPUR BUT THEY HAVE NOT TAKEN ANY ACTION YET . I HAVE ALREADY COMPLAINT THIS BEFORE THROUGH MAIL BUT I HAVE NOT GOT ANY REPLY . THERE ARE MANY DEFECTS IN THE CAR LIKE FRONT GLASS BEEDING, DRIVER GLASS BEEDNG, ETC WHICH SOCIETY MOTORS OF KANPUR ALREADY KNEW . IF I WILL NOT GET ANY SUPPORT THEN I WILL GO TO CIVIL COURT AGAINST FRAUD & 420.

Date was taken on monday 13/09/10 for the milometer not working and the driver gate lock not working,

Today full day car was in repairs and not delivered saying they do not have parts.

I doubt tomorrow will it be repaired or not.
Can delear hold some minimum inventory for the parts to give on time repairs.


because of defective milometer I have lost heavy amount on billing because oh it doest not show th Km running and showed less Km.


How do I will be compensated ????

Ask delear to do fast repairs . and do warrent repairs FOC.
