Tata Photon Plus — Information not included in offer document | |
TTML A/c No[protected] I took a Tata Photon plus connection on June 3rd 2009, on the promise of getting 10GB download per month free for the first 2 months ( as per the offer letter) . 4-5 days after my photon was activated TTML sends me a letter telling me about the plan i have, and include the information stating - 1) the first month plan fee would be charged on a prorata basis. (misleading information, not mentioned at the time of purchase of plan) 2) they also stated that the credit limit assigned to me was Rs.1000/-. ( they should cut-off my connection on crossing Rs.1000 above my allowance.) Since i have no way of accurately checking how much of download or upload i have used... i had to wait for for my bill or wait for them to inform me that i had exceeded my credit limit and was due for disconnection. I recieved a monthly bill of 13,848/- How can i recieve a bill of anything above Rs.1000 more than my prorated allowance for the remaining of the month. I refused to pay the outstanding amount until they rectified the situation and resent me the bill and this i intimated to them on the 20 phone conversation i have had with their untrained customer service executives. I have also written to the nodal officer a number of times only to have ill informed replies, but no solutions. i would really appreciate if you could see into this situation. Completely agree... Experienced the same thing. Actually thought of discontinuing their service, except that there's no other service provider in the NE. Waiting for BSNL.
