Tata Photon Plus — No Refund despite promise | |||
Hi, I purchased Tata Photon + Mobile Broadband Service in the month of July 2010 and in view of the extremely bad connectivity, I surrendered my connection within the first 10 days o[censored]sage. The modem was returned to the Tata executive on 22 July 2010. I was promised that the amount paid by me at the time of applying for new connection amounting to Rs.2999/- will be refunded entirely within a period of 2 weeks after necessary processing. After that, I consistently followed up with the Tata executives for refund but my repeated visits to their show room only gave me consoling replies saying that their office handling the refunds has been shifted to Pune and hence there are some delays. Every time I visited the showroom, they have been telling me that the refund would be coming in 2 weeks. Nerul East Showroom visit on 14 Aug 2010 - Was promised the refund within 2 weeks. Next visit on 18 Sep 2010 - Met Ms. Fatima who confirmed that no processing was done and again promised the refund within 2 weeks. Next visit on 10 Oct 2010 - Met Ms. Rashmi, who apologised and said that she would contact me within one week to advise the status. There is no call and no further promise to refund the amount. When I contacted Tata Photon + for the first time, it was my trust in the name of TATAs rather than anything else. However, whenever the performance was very bad, I had no option but to return the connection. But it seems TATA wants to thrive on these kind of small amounts causing deep annoyance to general public. What is the way out for me? Regards, Jayaram Was this information helpful? | |||
