Tata Photon Plus — Wrong Bill generation | |||
Hi, I am Deepanshu Agarwal. I am using tata indicom number [protected] and tata photon number [protected], related to the same account number[protected]. I had asked my Photon Number to be disconnected / put on hold for the time being. But, on 23rd June, 2012, it got activated without my knowledge. It was by coincidence, that I called up Customer Care on 24th June, 2012 to ask for some plans. On the contrary, I was told that my number has been already activated. I requested for de-activation at that time and wanted that no bill should get generated for this activation that I was not even aware of. I was assured by the person from Customer Care that my number will be put on hold and no bill will be generated for it. But, in the next billing cycle, I was charged Rs. 426 for this activation which I had not even asked for. Now, when I call customer care, I am being told that I need to first pay this bill of Rs. 426 or else my Photon Number cant be put on hold. Means, they ask me to pay for service that I never asked for and that I did not use. I have called Customer Care again and again but with no positive result. Using Tata Photon Plus has been a harrasment to me. It seems it would be better to cancel this photon number instead of continuing using it. Was this information helpful? | |||
