I have an AMC for Videocon AC with Tek Care India Pvt. Ltd for 3 years for which I paid Rs 3939.
My AC was not cooling so i lodged a request for service on 29th June 2010.
Their person came on 6th July 2010 & told me that they need to take it to workshop for repair.
When on 11th also i did not get me AC i started making calls to their local delhi service centre given to me by helpline& they did not bother to pick up my calls. After 2 hour of calling they picked up the phone at 2 pm & told me that I would get my AC by 5 pm.
They did not turn up by 5.30 after which their phone was switched off.
Today on 12 July i again called them up repeatedly & they promised to deliver it today. They came to my hone at around 1 pm & that time only my Father was at home. Self with wife & mom had gone to Doctor to get treatment for my 1 year old baby.
My father called me up to say the AC people have just left & there are sparks & smoke at AC connections. I called them up & they said they have just left & can do nothing about it as they were only transporters.
I called up my electrician & he told me that they have ony connected the Earth & Neutral & not the Phase. As a result the earth wire melted & there was smoke & spark. He als told that since the mains were put in the earth it could had given a fatal shock to anybody who would had touched the AC Body or any other equipment connected with that earth
Seeing the seriousness of their activity I am awake at 2 am & writing this complaint.
NOBODY SHOULD EVER DO ANY DEAL WITH TEK CARE INDIA PVT LTD.
THEIR SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. THE ACTIVITIES OOF THEIR SERVICE PERSONNEL IS CRIMINAL.
