The Mobile Store — Fraudulent Service

This is with regard to a formal complaint on my experience with MobileStore, Marol Vijaynagar outlet.

In Oct 2010, I had purchased a Nokia C3 handset from the said outlet. However, early last week my handset just went dead. My husband, Mr. Robin Lewis, took this handset to the outlet to investigate what could have gone wrong (early last week).He met Mr. Ranjeet there to whom he handed over the handset for investigation by the techinician.

After immense follow up there was absolutely no concrete response from your executive. He kept dilly-dallying the issue and Mr. Husband insisted it is difficult for me to operate without a handset and he may please suggest if this could be sorted out?

Mr. Ranjeet told Mr.Husband that there is a liquid damage to the handphone and that the warranty is lapsed. Mr.husband further inquired what would be the charges of repair and how much time it would take. The executive promptly replied to this and said the charges would be around Rs.1200 but no commitment on the time by when it could be repaired.

We sensed something is not right, and there was no concrete response for continues four days hence on Saturday (12th feb2011) my husband and myself personally visited the mobile store early morning at about 10am. We couldnot meet Mr.Ranjeet however we picked up our handset and took it to authorised Nokia Care centre at Andheri. The technician there first confirmed there is "NO LIQUID DAMAGE" and rectified our issue within a few working hours under WARRANTY. I got my cellphone back the same day.

I formally wants to report a complain against The mobile Store at Marol Vijaynagar outlet for the fradulent service, misguiding the customer and no responsible behaviour to revert on the queries.

I insist a reply on your action on my above complaint.
