The Mobile Store — Non Delivery of Product

COMPLAINT : Failed to deliver my order No :[protected], dated 25th June, 2009 without citing any reason . Payment made by credit card on the 25th June, 2009 . Money refunded on the 7th of August, 2009 after many complaints and legal correspondences ( through my advocate ) with the company .

FINANCIAL & OTHER DAMAGES : Legal Expenses Incurred . Courier Charges Incurred for several correspondences with the company . Telephone Expenses Incurred for calling the Call Centre of the company several times without any result . Internet Charges for e-mails sent by me to the company .
Rs 5049.00 blocked from 25th June, 2009 to 7th August, 2009 . Loss of Interest Charges (3.5% of Rs 5049.00). Mental Harrassment and Agony .

Dear Mr. Joy Moullik,

This order was placed on 25th June and on 26th June we got intimation from our bank stating that the cardholder has disputed/suspecting the transaction hence the transaction was kept on hold. We had also informed to the you on 1st July that we cannot process this for refund unless we receive a chargeback mail from bank. Our intent here was to ensure that the card is not misused hence wanted customer to come via bank route.

Since there was no material supplied against this order, we processed it for refund only post the legal notice.

Hope this clarifies the issue. Please let us know incase of any further information required.

The Mobile Store's Comment is totally false and baseless . A case had been filed in the Consumer Forum accordingly in the year 2009 itself . The case is still pending in the Consumer Forum .
