[Resolved] The Mobile Store — Undelivery of order, late refund | |||
Dear Complaints Helpdesk, This complaint is regarding online delivery service of The Mobile Store. I had placed an online order for a mobile vide order number[protected] on 10.03.13 with an expected shipping date of 18.03.13. When the order was not shipped on 18.03.13, I was told by the store to wait for 48 hours and that order will be shipped on 20.03.13. However, when the order was not shipped even on 20.03.13, I had placed a request for cancellation of the order. Surprisingly, the cancellation request was also not processed until 22.03.13, which is when I called up again and was told that the cancellation has been taken into account and will be processed soon. On 25.03.13, I got a call from Mobile Store telling me that the mobile is not available with the manufacturer and has been discontinued and that the cancellation request has been processed. What was surprising was that the very next day, the same product was being shown as 'Available - delivery within 6-8 days' to lure more customers to ordering the same. Today (01.04.13) when I called up again, the helpdesk is still telling me that the refund will take 12-14 working days since it is linked to a credit card. This is unacceptable to a customer who has paid the money on 10.03 to wait for about a month to get the same back due to no fault of his. Regards Was this information helpful? | |||
