[Resolved]  Time Out India card — Cards not being accepted at restaurants

I hold a TimeOut India(TOI) card since May 2010. The card was sold to me informing me about some of the restaurants where the card would be honored and I would be eligible for discount. YumYum Tree was one of the restaurants which, but a lot of embarrasment and humiliation was caused to me when the card was not honored at the restaurant and after few weeks I received intimation from TOI that the card is not valid at YumYum Tree anymore. I still have coupons which were given to me by TOI which entitles me to some freebies over there. But these coupons are useless now.

About a fortnight back I received an SMS from TOI that the card is valid at the newly opened restaurant Popadum and is eligible for discount on the the total bill. I took some of my guests over there on 28th July 2010 for lunch and again this time the card was not accepted. I was told by the restaurant manager that they do not have any final agreement with TOI and yet TOI is miselling cards by informing that it is valid at Popadum. I faced a lot of embarassment again because of TOI. I called up at their customer number at the same time to complain about it and the executive told me that he would call me back in 5 minutes, but they did not call back.

I sent them an email on 29th July 2010, but they still have not replied back.
