Hi got same mail offering a job which i did not apply for, please help us if this is just a scam or fraud.
Tnx alot
ITS A REAL FAKE...PLEASE BE AWARE...
Just an hour ago, I also received a scam email from Total Petroleum, Madrid Spain, I am really doubtful when I check the time this email was sent at 05:00 am!.. Tell me, is there any office hour starting 05:00 am? Real blood sucking stupids! Just like ''office14uk'' with an evil scam partner ''translatoren'', these two are professional thieves .We jobseekers should avoid these internet syndicates, we are seeking for our jobs to decently earn for a living and not to lose the small amount money left in our accounts for these profesional THIEVES! Always remember, once Job Agents ask money due to any processing FEES or Payment a jobseeker has to shoulder, , , Then, you SHOULD NOT TRUST THEMMMM..
I got the same "offer". This is a total fraud. They requested alot of personal information - do not provide since they can STEAL YOUR IDENTITY. Also no legitimate company will require you to pay for anything - VISA or WORK PERMIT, they arrange that themselves.
Dears,
Same as you received the post from Total Petoleum Company, Spain, today i also received an email from that company. But I am surprised to see that there is no website of this company. So I request all of you not to send any money. It is a fraud.

Regards.

Hi all,
I also received a similiar email 2 days ago and I was asked to fill an online questionnaire, and i was about to fill it when i thought of searching through web to know more about the firm and here I am!! I found this forum!!
I dont know if this company is fake but I will surely NOT bother to fill the questionnaire anymore!
Thank you all!
Hi Folks,

THIS IS A SCAM PERIOD!
1 I know many of you are looking for work but I think it is about time that all of you stopped dreaming. I work for Total as a fluids engineer. If they want you they will call you. They do not send e mails especially, one with a question for an interview. Everything is done in person.
2 You NEVER pay anything for a job. Once they ask for money it is a scam.
Hi,

I think Total Petroleum shoudl investigate on this, because this scammer is using tehri logo. Here's the telephone number they have provided in the online questionaire I received.

+[protected] Fax +[protected]
email is [protected]@administrativos.com
They are such a [censored]ing bastartd, even i received the sane offer letter and I had almost started my plannng to go out their and start building up a good career but thanks to all the comment that has been posted out here and my career was alomst saved by these comments. I would like someone to go out there and [censored] their entire family left, right and centre so that they will be bound to think twice before they can scam someone else
After seeing all above members feedback it looks that this is not real company. I got mail from them to fill online interview form, then but so far I have not yet filled it. I have not applied for this compnay but how they are got information about me, if they really look right person they could have called by phone. So this is not true, this is big scam.

Tota
Just remember people that if you are in the EU you dont need to pay any money for a work permit to work in Spain. They've tried this with me too.

I cant believe that such scum are willing to extort money out of anybody, especially people like us who desperately need work.
Hi people~!

Thank you for your inputs, it did raise a few doubts when I received their offer letter today. Hence I searched for their corporate website for Spain and this is what I found,

Fake recruitment organisations :

Several applicants have told us that recruitment organisations had approached them and requested payment in exchange of purportedly processing their application for a job at Total.

Please be advised that Total, its subsidiaries and the organisations that it entrusts with its recruitment requirements do not and will not ask for money from applicants under any circumstance and at any point in the selection and recruitment process. In other words, if a recruitment organisation requests payment please be advised that they are not working on our behalf.

In addition, our recruitment process is quite structured. In this respect, please note that we never make a definitive offer of employment before meeting an applicant.

We are naturally acting on the legal side in order to stop such fake proposals.

In case of doubt, please do not hesitate to contact us again. "

For those interested, the web page is as below:
This is very clear:
1. They use a gmail email address, no substancial company runs their email through google.
2. They can't spell Petroleum 'Petroluem'.
3. You should never pay anything up front for any job.
These guys are discusting thiefs!
Please dont go for like mails.please dont pay money if they asked also
