I too had a similar experience. They had asked me to pay Rs.20000/- as courier charges! It seems that this is a transglobal joke of sorts.

a new friend sent me parcel from london and said that i will receive the package within few days, after 2 days someone called me and said that they detected currency inside the package so the parcel was put on hold and for them to realease the package they sent me a letter and asking me to pay 1570.10 USD and keep on calling me and sending me email that if in one week they will not get the payment the package will be lost. i just cant believe why they keep on calling me instead of the sender they really wanted me to deposit the money so that the parcel will be released after the payment has been made, please do somthing about this...tnx

furnish some details to claim it.I was asked to contact one Mr.Mark Harris for details to receive my
parcel, whom I did speak to.But the moment he mailed me the charges to receive my parcel, I sniffed something fishy.
Going through your site has thus stopped me from falling into their trap.Pls try and discover these
culprits and get them punished.
