[Resolved]  Travels — Pathetic and very very poor customer service

Hi,
This is to let all travellers know the very very bitter experience that i have faced in KPN Travels. On 22-Nov-2010 i was in a position to goto my native place(Bhavani a town in Erode district) all of a sudden from chennai with my wife. So i haven't booked any tickets in advance. Directly went to Koyambedu mofussal bus terminus around 10.20pm. Since i am having back pain i can't travel long distances in sitting. So we preferred to travel by Sleeper. But there is no sleeper service to my native place. Hence i asked them to give 2 coimbatore tickets in Sleeper so that i can get down at Bhavani Byepass (Lakshmi nagar). While booking the ticket i informed the cashier, he asked me to tell this to the driver.

I informed this to the driver that i want to get down at Bhavani byepass(that is Lakshmi nagar). Also i have given my seat number to wake me up. The driver told me that he will woke me up when the bus reaches there. Around 5 am in the morning the next day i woke up and saw that the bus has already crossed Bhavani byepass and it was in perundurai. I ran to the driver and told him to stop at perundurai bus stand. But he said there is no stop in perundurai and also the bus will not goto bus stand. I asked him why he haven't woke me up at Bhavani byepass. For that he told casually he thought the stop to be Lakshmi mills (which is a stop in coimbatore). Really i got angry and frustated with his answer. So i asked him is this way to behave to a customer that too on a rainy day in the early morning. For that he shouted at me whether we are going to get down or not and started shouting at bad words.

Me and my wife are software professionals. We haven't experienced such a worst and very very poor attitude in our travel before this.

The bus timing from Chennai to Coimbatore on 22-Nov-2010 at 10.30 pm. Sleeper class bus and the bus number is PY 01 AR 9199 or PY 01 AR 9499 (I was not able to see the number properly since its early morning and its pitch dark and also it was raining).

Initially KPN has got a good name and fame with its good customer service. But nowadays its getting detrioted with these kind of drivers and the words they spoke to the customers. We are not travelling free of cost. We are charged a lot sum of money for providing a good service. If this continues, i am damn sure that KPN will drown from their fame since lot of other travels are booming with really good customer service.
