[Resolved] Used Car — Cheated by used car dealer | |
Dear Sir, I had planned to purchase a second car (Maruti Zen LXI - 2002 MODEL) and visited a Car Sale Purchase dealer - namely Ramsen Motors in Connaught Place, New Delhi. I selected a car for amount of Rs. 1, 60, 000/- with the following terms and conditions :- a) As per Mr. Govind whom I was dealing with advised that the value of the car from the bank will be Rs. 1, 90, 000/- and the loan amount to be sanctioned will be 1, 50, 000/- (80 % of the value) and on the basis of this condition I paid Rs. 5000/- advance. However thereafter when the actual bank valuation was done the value was declared at Rs. 1, 40, 000/- and total loan amount sanctioned was Rs.92, 000/-. Due to this low revised valuation I needed to pay a difference of Rs. 68, 000/- by cash. I am salaried person & cannot keep affording big amount to by the same. During this procedure he managed to force & take a further Rs. 5, 000/- from me. Sir, I really feel cheated by these type of car dealers regard to the sell/purchage & earning money without selling the product. Since I could not pay this hefty sum of amount by cash I requested him to refund the token money of Rs. 10, 000/- which he blankly refused by saying that he would adjust this money with future transaction. Again he showed an accidental car for me to buy which I refused to accept. He is also not giving me the number of the car owner and now I feel that both the dealer and the car owner have eaten up my token money given to them. This is a sheer case of cheating and request the concerned authorities to look into the matter and have my money refunded to me soon. Await a favourable reply and help.
