I am a member of the UTI's SENIOR CITIZEN's UNIT PLAN ( SCUP). I am aged 74 and my wife 65. We are eligible for hospitalisation and treatment in recognised hospitals approved by UTI and have a cover of more than 5 lakhs as of now. I have made use of this earlier for my cataract operation held at Hinduja Hospital 6 yeras back. It was an wonderful experience and i have to thank UTI for the nice scheme.
Well, the scheme has now been closed for late entrants, but for persons like me the same is operational as per UTI s notification. But it oppears the mode of operation has changed.
NOBODY IS ABLE TO GUIDE ME REG THE MODE OF OPEARTION. NOW THE UTI HAS NOT RENEWED THE REGISTRATION WITH THE 15 OR 16 HOSPITALS IN MUMBAI, IT HAD REGISTERED EARLIER.
MY enquiry with UTI is of no avail. No satisfactory reply. Now I have to undergo Hernia opeartion and I do not know how to proceed.
Please let me know how to go about it?

I request the UTI to inform all the eligible members the set procedure for making use of the scheme. Please note that the UTI is committed to honour its plan to the members.
