The VJS Associates Ashraya is now fully complete and handed over.
As a customer I believe I am completely qualified to answer this question.
From the site visit till you register your property, these people
MD - Vijayanathan, Directors - Loganathan and Sivakumar will treat you like gods and make sure you are not even allowed to feel a little bit of discomfort. But after that, they wont just forget you but make you run pillar to post.
Their property prices are on par with other properties in the locality. What makes them stand out is the escalation cost which they will levy on you a few months before the handover. If you refuse then you will not get your apartments possession. If you pay the escalation costs then too the project gets pushed by 1- 2 years minimum. I used to think this was just an unfortunate event with our project but then when I had to run around behind them for my project I found any people from other projects of theirs running behind them too with same results.
A project near Vandalur was delayed to almost 5 - 6 years from the date of handover. There I lost all my hope.
A project in Thuraipakkam was delayed for 2 years and i heard form one of the owners that the builders were kicked out of their own project and that the residents themselves completed it. All this after paying the escalating charge.
Their other projects in OMR and Perungabakkam have been abandoned.
Finally unable to bear the flat owners harassment the builders quietly shifted their office overnight and changed all their phone numbers. Now we dont even know where their office is.
Last I heard they were running this scam in a new name "Brick Developers". They do not fear anyone since they re backed by some political party.
Dont take my work for it, Visit their properties constructed from 2010 till date. You will get a better idea.

Pls go with any other builder to get flats in affordable prices
