had bought this very stylish and sporty golf shoe last tyear somewhere in April from Puma Outlet at Ambi mall. reason for buying was light and 1 year weather proof and water proof guarantee.
After purchase had got a guarantee card and bill.
Enquired the salesman for if bill / gurantee card is misplaced then how do they go about the claim if any stated defect occurs within the specified time span.
He mentioned that please keep the guarantee card with you as this is mandatory for claiming.
On 17.02.10 had gone to the outlet with the claim that water is seaping in and hence the product is not satisfactory and fails to meet the requirement within specific time persiod and also handed over the guarantee card.
They assured that the product will be chedked and will revert back within 4 to 5 working days .
Today got a call from the salesman that the product is defective, however they need bill for furhter processing it.
i am not able to understand why bill is required when the product is found defective and its guarantee card is already handed over as each shoe sold must be having a unique serial no card associated with it and the same can be checked in their system .
Help me in getting the product replaced with the new one or monely back .
