Widespread Appliances Pvt. Ltd. — Worst service.

I booked a Indo Gold Tower fan from Widespread Appliances Pvt. Ltd. on 26th April, 2008, I got the delivery on 03rd May, 2009. It worked great till Jan, 2009. and then it started giving loud noise and no air flow from it. So I called then in mid Jan 2009 itself.

They said that an engineer will come down to my home to check the same, he will call me before he visits my home. So I waited for them, but they didn't turn up, so I called them again. This time they said that I need to get the fan to their office. And that is too far away from my home nearly 30 KM. So at the time of booking I confirmed from him that, in case of service will I have to bring the device to their service center personally or they have house visit facility. They said that I need not carry the device to their service center they will come down. I confirmed it thrice as it is not possible for me to carry the same on my bike alone. They confirmed the same that they will come down to my house for service.

Then they started giving the reasons like there are no service person available right now so I need to get the tower fan on my own. I told them about the problems in taking the tower fan to their service center, and also what I was assured during the booking of tower fan.

So, on 7th March, 2009 I visited their office and gave a complaint once again personally and got the same duly signed from the Madam at reception on the back side of the receipt. They said they will send the service person after a week or so as they don't have any service person right now. Every one were busy in some Exhibition. But confirmed that they would see what they can do.

So I waited for 3 weeks but no call or anyone turned up. So I called again but all in vain. Now the Guarantee period is about to expire on 3rd, may 2009. Please help me. I bought this with hard earned money.
