[Resolved]  WLCI College — How Wigan & Leigh College India (WLCI) cheated us ?

I am a student who was taken admission from Trivandrum campus and waited last 9 months to open the campus, they taken application and admission fees and always telling the Trivandrum campus is going to start soon and two days before I got news the Trivandrum campus is closed and they cheated me and many of my friends. This is a cheating Institution in India, friends pls. don't believe this WLCI they are the No.1 cheaters in all over India, many of their campus is closed and they are planning to close some more, be care full.

I am Revathy a student for MBA to Trivandrum campus today I came to know this campus is already shut down and there is no staff or any responsible persons available. This WLCI is cheated my life and my dear students please don't join this institution any where in India, if you join you will be cheated, so don't give a chance to spoil your life.

sir I am student of PGDM from lords international college for alwar.sir this time i am so upset because MR.chahan chairman is this colege for cheat the student. Mr.chahan was spoil the life of student. sir every student pay for 3 lakhs and this time for our last sem which was 4 sem student and not the afflitaion of the coruse.sir 2 yrs did not say anything but last sem tell the Director Mr.madan say that not the affilated for PGDM course.sir our coruse is not the affilated which say the every faculty.......

I've been called for a P.I at WLCI. I was quite impressed with the details i was given about the institution. But after reading some comments, i'm rather confused. I am just 17 and i'm applying for a UG course in fashion design. i really need to know if i'm doing the right thing. I cannot waste 3 years.

WLC College India (WIGAN AND LIEGH), Mumbai; is a fraud college there have been end number of complaints against this college all over the net..The Government of the country should really do something to bring down these institutions that are running illegally. >I registered for the part-time program...earlier than I had wished to join as I was told of a last date for admissions, to which I must add the college was still accepting entries..even after I had gone there. >Their registration fee is 10, 000 which I paid...Five days later their staff member calls me an insist I pay 50, 000Rs of the remaining fee..(from the total amount for the 18months course is 1, 65, 450Rs) She also explains that all the other five students in the batch who were supposed to be attending with me have already paid the fee. >The college assured my mother that the batch would have five students. But when I attended the first class there was only one student besides me coming to the point that if that one student did not attend I would be the only student.. >The lecturer did not seem very professional.. Like in other competent institutes any course is started with the first module in the syllabus.. here he started teaching us what he knew about with was the fourth module in the syllabus. >I also found the professor lacked information in his subject and on talking to him in the first class I realized that he was going to be teaching almost all modules of the course along with a few guest lectures. To which the college promised professional highly knowledgeable an skilled lecturers to be teaching specific modules of their proficiency. >To me all the lectures seemed like they could only talk and will talk you into thinking your an extremely talented person and they can help you carve your niche. >After having hopes of travelling from a far distance just to fulfill my desire of media studies... Felt like this college was the biggest fraud and liars.. >SOON AFTER I ATTENDED THE FIRST LECTURE I EXPLAINED TO MY MOM ABOUT THE WAY IT WAS RUNNING AND THE VERY NEXT DAY SHE GAVE THEM A LETTER TO REFUND THE FEES. >However even though I attended just one lecture..In which some nonsense rubbish talks were give by the professor for just 3hours...they have still not refunded the fees. >The college is running with just about 5 lectures an about 25 students daily but claims to have 50 faculty and 300 students... >My parents work hard for their money and we want value for money and are willing to pay for education but this college is run by cheats, robbers and liars..after fleecing students of their money the roofs are even leaking(water leakage) >They will just make you sign the papers at the time of admission without even asking you to read them..I'm em-phasing the staff is all well trained in talking their way into fooling you. >The college is not accredited to AICTE/UGC/AIU, however this is not mentioned you will only find out this later on when its too late.. I hope some one can bring this college down..see the complaints it has against it..We are middle class law abiding citizens with moral values and this college has robbed us of 60, 000Rs.

ok, just for the record, let me tell you, wlc is the worst institution to ever come up in india. i am a studient of wlc 2009-11 batch unfortunately.. they promise you alot but deliver nothing. their syllabus is so outdated and the teaching pedagody is ridiculous.. i opted for a specilisation in finance and guess what they have no faculty for it. our batch was told to attedn online classes for it. conducted by some faculty who had absolutely no knowledge of the subject.. common, for the exorbitant fees of rs580000 that they charge, i expect to get some returns out of my investment. its a total waste of time money and intelect if anyone enroles for programs in wlc indian.. REMMINDER- wlc india is not recognised by the AICTE. -wlc india is not accredited. -wlc india is not recognised by UGC -wlc india is not recongised by the Govt Of India. -wlc india is not recognised by the croporates(note-if a studient is placed, it is not because of the wlc tag, but his graduation from a recognised university) -wlc india is a black listed institutions. (notified in the papers) -wlc india is vocational institute and not a college(Name wlc college india ltd is fake). -the mode of learning in wlc india is the online mode and they do not provide physical classes as they claim during admission.(not worth it for the fee u pay) -wlc india has no faculty (only 4people run the entire bangalore campus) i can name them i[censored] like. for our finance specilaisation we had only one person handle our modules for 6months which was really disheartening.. let me see if the college can prove me wrong in this regard.. i can give you more details of this college if needed.. oh, by the way, the positive posts in this forum are from the faculty and management of wlc and not from any studient i gurantee. to support what i say, i can provide you the email addresses of all the studients of the bangalore campus from fashion to business, from studients in pcl, acl, fcl etc confirming 100% to the above statements.

This college is nothing but a money-making insritution to the core. It sure doesn't delay when it comes to persuading students to take admission to it's so-called flagship courses or paying up the installment money when it's due; but when comes to refunding the caution money to the students, something which is rightfully and legally theirs, it seems to take them ages to process the claims for the same. As a unfortunate student of this college, it's been 3 months since i've being doing the rounds of the college to obtain the refund of my security deposit, but everytime they come up with some excuse or the other. Colleges like this are just playing with the lives of students, there's just no accountability and responsibility with the people in charge of this institution

guys tell me what to do i already paid application fee how to get it back?

its a scam college and i dont mean it just cos i have some vengeance agaist college!. the faculties are not regular and they are not trained properly totrain the students. I[censored] compare the education with the nift and pearl and satyam clg they are way ahead in the course and WLC student will not even know hw to stitch a basic garment. and their networking with the other companies are hopeless they do not have n e contacts and r not at all professionals to set an interview for internship and placement jobs!and the facultieshave no judgement of coordination. students cum to clg but the visitor faulties take off and sumtimes they dnt come back to teach at all

Nobody has the time or an agenda to make false accusations against institutions unless there are known instances or concerns. I have been reading though the website and others but do not find sufficient validations from UGC, Govt of India. Apart from this i have 3 straight forward references from Mumbai who claim they completed the course many years ago, but have not received their certifications yet.

Can you publish audited/validated copies of your validations from the Govt of India and WLC UK to restore my doubts in the authenticity of the institution/

don't take admission in this college...they only need money nothing else...even they don't have good faculty... guys m requesting you don't spoil your money & career...

iam student of wlci i can say tht i have done my mba from wlci only got good placements and now working with the good corporate
and my freind who was not atol regular to the college and was not placed because was rejected in interview by same corporate on his knowledge so i think this is not the rght way to say wlci wrong

I wanted to clear some doubts.
What is the accreditation status of WLCI?
Are they approved by AICTE?
Are they really having tie up with UK college as I cannot find anything regarding this from UK colleges?

WLC stand for WE LOVE CASH... all WLCI campus & Faculty are chors cheaters...
