[Resolved] Yamaha Fz16 — warranty period | |
i had brought the yamaha fz16 on 25/12/08. and then i got the warranty for the battery 1 year.my battery developed some problem at 11th month and i showed it to yamaha show room.they told me to go to amco battery shop to claim warranty and replace the battery, but amco guys told me u did't got any warranty as per the manufacturing code u got only 5 months of warrantyonly... so later i came to know that yanmaha showroom in hyderabad named "VENKATESA MOTORS" had selled me the unwarranted battery for 1 year. then i asked those guys why did u do that.. they simply told me to complaint to yamaha india sales guys... this shows how the yamaha india sales team is working... For all these kind of issues we have one called Consumer Protection cell. take these issues to them and let Yamaha India company also know whats happening with there proud product...hmm
