I seriously want to know when is our session going to end and I hope it’s not on February. I hope we will get to spend our school life just like every other kid. I don’t want this pandemic to take it away from class 12, batch of 2020. I urge the council to extend the session of schools.

Sincerely,
An unlucky student.

There’s so much pressure on the class 12 students this year even after the reduction in the syllabus. The reduction did not help us at all and moreover it would cause us great problems in the near future because these are the basics which we are learning. The physical, emotional and mental trauma we are experiencing is extremely excruciating. The last year of school life is special to every school student, but if the council doesn’t extend it and make it a year’s session, we won’t even get the chance to make memories or have the right mind to give exams properly.

        Dear sir/madam

I am not satisfy with the way council has given/calculated the marks in 10 board exam declared a few days ago.
There are lot of discrepancies - the chemistry and maths exams were held but the marks given are not upto the expectation. However, surprisingly the marks given in computer paper for which exam was not held due to covid 19, were 91 out of 100 which i never secured in all other internal exams held at my school level.
I want to recheck my all papers in which i appeared but the fee asked by the council for rechecking is rs. 1000 per paper which is too high.

        Please help me out.

Gkp, 273001; has imposed subjects by their own from group 3rd elective subjects as computer applications for candidates without our information about it.

Through the columns of your esteemed organisation, i wish to share my concern regarding the promotion of students of icse board till class 8.

Due to the covid crisis, your organisation has taken the decision of promoting all the students from class 1 to class 8. This has been publicised in news as well as in the website. But i want to bring you to a further attention that there is a well renowned icse school in kolkata, named "mahavir institute of education and research" (17/1, canal street road, kolkata-700014) which is not abiding the instructions mentioned by the organization. This particular school had started online classes from 24th april, 2020 after the organization's guidelines came publicly in news. Due to the lockdown issue, they had not cleared any report card of the final examination that was held on the first week of march. After your notice, they started the classes without any results and promoted them to the next class with new section through online portal. The students were continuing the classes regularly since 2 months. However, before 2 days after the unlock-1 started, they announced the results offline. Some of the students report card is showing that they have been failed and is not promoted to new classes. After further asking from school authority, we got to know that the final decision of the class promotion is clearly mentioned in the report card. No changes will be possible, which means that some students who failed till class 8 are demoted to their previous classes. The school authorities are not listening to anyone and they are claiming that those students must go to their previous classes as they have failed.
I just want to know, even after the guideline from your organization, why is it so? The students has been literally harassed through this process. Firstly they did their new class's all online works and now they are told to get back to their previous classes? I want to complain to your organization regarding this particular school to take strict action as necessary. Its a mental harassment to students. I request you to please take further action.

Sir i am starting this message with profound sadness, that icse council is not taking the life of the appearing students seriously. It is painful to say that we are amid of a pandemic, and the whole country is shook with the crisis of both life and love.

It is nearly impossible for the students to attend the exams due to unwisely planned and routed transportation, and as the as the virus is contagious there is also stands a chance of mass affecting of students with
Covid - 19. So, it is my uttermost request to cancel the upcoming exams

                With regards,

The council have ask all the schools to submit the pre-board marks of all the students. It will be unfair if council is making plans to give the pre-board marks as the final boards marks. All the students have keep patience till now and are ready to give the exams on the coming days.

I had sent an email on 17th may 2020 at the above email ids but have received no response.

I have been posted in goa as sr. Divisional manager of life insurance corporation of india since 09.05.2020. Even though i could shift my son to goa who is completing his graduation from dempe college of arts and science, however i was not able to shift my wife and my daughter ms sanya dayal who is studying at vishwajyot high school, kharghar, navi mumbai (Icse board).

On 1st february 2020 i contacted sharda mandir school (Icse board), miramar goa and submitted her registration form for admission in xi standard (Commerce).

She was able to appear for six exam papers in march 2020, however due to covid-19 pandemic examinations for the remaining four papers were not conducted and since then we were waiting for some decision in this regard from icse board, but decision from your side is delayed. Moreover there is no clarity as to much time it will take for you to conduct the examinations. Where as now we learn that cbse has already come out yesterday with the revised dates of examinations to be held in july, 2020.

Now that the risk of covid 19 is increasing in kharghar, i would like to shift them to goa at the earliest.

Please allow her to appear for remaining papers at sharda mandir school, miramar, goa which is also affiliated to icsc board.

I had a question and a request regarding the semester exams being held this year. The question is, whether this year will there be a provision of improvement exams for students appearing for isc semester exams[protected] ? . The request is, if there is no provision of improvement exams, please make the improvement exams take place, there are many students who could not concentrate properly on studies due loss pf their family members, and I am one of them .

There is a school namely little flower school in maharajganj, uttar pradesh.
They are distributing books and taking fees in cash amid lockdown.
A huge crowd gathering was done at their premises amid lockdown and no any social distancing is followed there.
I saw many children's where also present at the premises.
This school has violated rules many times here.
I request the board to take a strict action against them...

This was also done without informing the district authority.

The recent initiative taken by the council for virtual classes to be taken for 9-12 could be a disaster. Many people do not have books right at the moment. All the book shops are closed due to the lockdown. Nobody knows when will the lockdown actually end. If the books aren’t available in front o[censored]s, how are we supposed to study? If we don't have project papers and other materials, how will we execute our projects with precision? During this crisis, the council should’ve had thought about the helpless students also.

                            Dear sir/mam,

We are students of class 10 of jyoti niketan school, atlas tank, azamgarh-276001, u. P. Which is affiliated to cisce board (Icse and isc).

Jyoti niketan school is not starting online or virtual classes for any of its classes or bathes not even for 10th or 12th class. I think that this is a crucial period for cisce students to study in this lockdown which may extend upto june. As cisce has asked to start virtual classes but jyoti niketan is not following which is a big tension for students and their parents. It is shameful that the board exam paper for chemistry got leaked and the board isn't taking any action. Not only chemistry but even math got leaked. Come on, do something about it. Take a re exam if that's what is needed but keep it fair and for heaven's sake keep it safe. And don't pretend as if any of it is a lie. It isn't. They truly got leaked.

Why would we want to defame our own board. The chemistry theory paper was definitely leaked way before the exams. The council should take serious steps to encounter the problem and organise a re-exam so that the undeserving don't get more than the deserving. Straight and simple. Those who are saying that this a method to defame our board are one of the main culprits. This is not just a fake rumour. This is the truth.

Respected sir/madam Chemistry, paper1 (theory) was leaked two days before the exam in lucknow. Many students were having the questions along with the answers before the exam in form of pdf and photos. Many students were selling them too. Kindly look into the matter. We need re-exam.

We worked hard for the entire year and here you go there's a paper leak.. I think council should conduct a re-exam if the paper got leaked please look into it sir/mam because it's an injustice to those who worked hard for the entire year and we are ready for any sort of re-exam
