I am an ex student of st. John's high school, howrah. I passed my isc exam in 1st div from this school. When i went to the above mentioned school to say that i need a tc from the school in order to get admission in a college, i was told that i will have to pay 500 rupees for the tc (Transfer certificate) and 250 rupees for migration certificate. Now my question is, is this a mandate for all the schools under your board to charge money for a tc and a mc? I havent heard of schools charging money for a tc. Your kind intervention in this matter is requested at the earliest.

Sir, this is to inform you that i have applied for recheck in cisce for class 12 for 2 subjects and the amout is rs1000 but actually they had deducted rs4000 for 2 subjects and they didnt refund it back. I have contacted them around 50 times no amount has been refunded back yet. Please kindly take step against them. They dont even take care of refunding it back. They dont even pick any call from us.

Dear sir/ma’am,
I am a student of st. Xavier’s senior secondary school, durg, from batch 2015 - 16. I wanted to appear for the icse board improvement examination for mathematics of class 12th. I filled and submitted the desired form at my school on 7th september 2016 under the guidance of my school teachers [removed] (Physics & mathematics teacher) and [removed] (Principal). The form was then handed over to the principal.
I followed up for updates on the completion of my registration process and for reception of the admit card twice with the principal in december 2016 and february 2017. Both the times, i was told that i would receive my admit card on the day of the examination.
The mathematics examination was scheduled on 15th march 2017 (2 pm to 5 pm) at st. Xavier’s senior secondary school, durg. There, i was not given my admit card and was informed that i was not registered with the board as i had surpassed registration deadline, which was not the case.
My registration number at the school is [removed] and my unique id is [removed].
I am willing to complete my examination on any future date this year itself as provided by the board or my school.
Failing to give this examination, will cost me another year and greatly impact my entire career.
I thus earnestly request you to kindly look into the matter and help me obtain an alternate date for my mathematics improvement examination.

I had my registeration in 2012 in an icse medium school and during that registeration process my date of birth went wrong. I did not pay attention to it but lately i have been facing a lot of trouble as many of my official documents are stuck because of that wrong birth date. So is there any way through which i can get it changed because it is creating a lot of trouble and my other documents could not be verified because. Of this issue.
Also many very very important documents and files are on hold only because of this mistake.
Please please look into the matter as it is very urgent and provide me the solution as soon as possible. I will be very greatful it you help me out with the same. Thank you

This year we haven't got marks upto our expectations every body is crying over theri marks... I think the paper is checked very very strickly the marks arr not given like every year even my fellow mates of class 12th who have got their results yesterday every body has the same grievance every body feels the marks have not been given the way we have performed it has been a big injustice to isc board we will not not get admission in to a good colleges my friend almost sucided yeasterday.. Sir please note that i had paid a sum of inr 2700/- cash to pratt memorial school kolkata for the review of 3 papers (Science maths &english ii inr 900/- for each subject) on 15 may 2016. No cash receipt was issued to me despite insistence. My ward was scared that the demand for receipt might invoke revenge towards her so i refrained. But past a month review results were not brought forward by the school authority to the student. Lastly when enquired was verbally informed that no change of marks in the reviewed papers were there. Seeing many dubious activities i doubt whether my request for the paper review was at all sent to the cisce board or not as no information from either was sent to me. I've been completely in dark regarding the issue n also my amount stands at a loss

I am writing this mail on behalf of all the parents who are suffering this year due to lack of communication & transparency from the school regarding the text books,

Every year the school themselves use to allot the text books and other stationary which was amounting close to inr 4000 plus.

But this year we suddenly got a message from a third party online book house to buy the books from them as per the school guidelines,

We never got any confirmation message from the school also to buy the books online, later the school sent a message on the list of textbooks to be bought, with an instruction to buy online / offline (The notice is as attached)

Every parent was in a big dilemma since the online book house was charging a costly price of total 7000 to 8000 rupees for the same books which was more than double the regular prices,

Since then no-one is available to answer us from the school on the exorbitant rates, even the online shop has no direct person to answer.

In between all this, when we went to the top book stores to get these books, then we came to know that these books are not available anywhere to buy as the book seller and the school have agreed to sell only online.

I felt its unjust on behalf of all parents, making us run every book store and at last forced to buy online at higher rates,

We neither have the school management to answer on this or anyone else,

Thought of bringing this to your kind notice so that we can get some relief as parents.

The maths question was shocking, direct but difficult. Sec C had questions which were inconventional .
Sec A had several wrong questions, such as, L'Hospital, Limit, LMV and a question which was out of syllabus.
We spent much time in such sums.we request you to allot full marks and lenient checking as our marks would affect our future.

Sir, In Isc 2017 Q1 part four the sum is wrong as proclaimed many cities around the city. As I was confident at that topic, I kept on trying wasted more than 15 minutes but couldn't solve . That made the paper lengthy . It has become problematic for us as we and all students around our center have not been able to complete some 5 markers. The 5 markers sum were long so it needed good speed but the wrong question has set us in a bad mood and poor morale. Please look into it, give grace marks where you feel cause we feel unjustified and our marks will be way less than what we deserve because o[censored]ncompletion if paper . This is a career oriented exam and maths as I am eco commerce student will matter. Please award some grace marks ISC. That's all you can do !

In the mathematics paper 2017 question number 1 part four is wrong.
So please check n give us the grace marks.

It is quite inconvenient for the students to handle such problems during exams. It creates a pressure on them as we waste or have wasted I face more than 15 minutes to solve that single question due to that one printing error which was not expected from isc.

Kindly look into the matter and give us the marks.

I am writing this letter to let you know a grievance of mine as a mother of two daughters studying in Notredame Academy, Bangalore. This school is run by the Sisters of Notre Dame.

This school is affiliated to your board. I would like to let you know that this school enforces all the students from class 5 and above to carry all their books back home. This burden results in the students carrying a huge load to and from the school. Often the weight is around 7kg and more. My kids have a lot of back pain because of their heavy school bags. Many parents and some teachers have complained to the school authorities to no avail. My daughter's classroom is on the third floor.

I did read in an article that the central Right of children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 — better known as Right to Education (RTE) Act — clearly states that a schoolbag should not weigh more than 10% of a student's body weight.

I earnestly request you to enforce that students don't carry such heavy schoolbags.
