Similar things is happening at ST THOMAS CHURCH SCHOOL, HOWRAH MAIDAN . Where Principle have no function or control on teachers. He donot have any involvement in school activities.

for example in this year annual MATHEMATICS exam in class VIII. Examiner come in classroom(teacher MRS SAMPA SINHA) half an hour late after schedule time. But she take all exam sheets returns within schedule. So students of this section got half hour less than other section. More ever in math papers some math questions are out of syllubus & advised by class teacher not to study that portion. But in other sections of the same class this portion was teached. So this particular section of students are penalised without their fault. Matter was taken to class teacher & principal, but nothing happened.


You may surprised to note that routine for annual exam was handed over to student only two days before starting examination.

Teaches are allowing students to see books / papers, discussion with other friends during examination. They just sit & see nothing.

Most of the teachers of this school are taking bribe from students / gurdians for giving them good marks or 1st/2nd/3rd position in their half yearly & annual examinations.

No teachers are ready to listen any thing from students parents during parent teacher meeting.

Entire system of ST THOMAS CHURCH SCHOOL, 4-CHURCH ROAD, HOWRAH-1 AT HOWRAH MAIDAN, WEST BENGAL is corrupt & collapsed. No envirnment of good education for students are there.

They are only interested of fetching money from gurdians.

So, WE ON BEHALF OF ALL PARENTS/GURDIANS REQUESTING HIGHER AUTHORITY TO TAKE IMMEDIATE STEPS TO SAVE THE FUTURE OF STUDENTS & SCHOOL.

I beg to say that i am a student of CHRISTIAN ENGLISH COLLEGE in Chhatarpur.The students are worried because of the following a necessary actions taken by the staff of our school this year as follows :-

The School Principal is not allowing us to choose ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION and are forcing us to choose COMPUTER SCIENCE from the 3rd group of our syllabus (subjects group for 9th and 10th class), while it is allowed by ICSE, to choose subject of their(students) own choice.

And from this year the boys and girls are separated, which is leading to the disturbance in our class (i.e. We are unable to study in our class because there's a lot of noise and fights in my class(Boys section).And we are worried about our studies because the 10th BOARD is only 1 year away from us.

Most of the teachers are interested in playing Politics and are having bad intentions toward the Student friendly Teachers.

Its a kind request to take a necessary action.

My son is studying in Amarjyoti Saraswati International School, shanitnagar, kalvibid, Bhavnagar, Gujarat. It is the only one school in bhavnagar, gujarat and now the school management has announced that there will be no vacation for X and XII standard students which means school will be running is summer i.e. in the month of may..

According to ICSE rules school should run 210 - 220 days...it is a torchure to students to come in may..and they announced if students will not come they will cancel the admissions says the attendance is less..

It seems we did a crime that our children came in 12th...

hello, i joined an icse board school named Shri Jagannath Shah inter college in unnao, as an official staff, but from that vary day i've not observed anything like prayer or gathering of students in the assembly. according my me it is one of the vital activities which mus be conducted in school daily. there are many more things which are not going in a proper way.

tribeni tissues vidyapith of west bengal hooghly district chandrahati 1, forcing to buy xseed books from class1 to class 8 rather than icse pattern books we have gone through the books which is totally different from icse board, can a school can run without the icse norms. it is a affilated school of icse and not using the icse books will it be good for the students please help all the guardians og this school.

My ward is studying in St. Marrys Orthodox school, Krishnapuram Kanpur. The school principle (Mrs. Sadhana Pandey) is forcing student to leave optional subject computer science, & also forcing to put whitener on the form and change optional subject.
Please do some thing.At the time of accepting the form and receiving fees, Mrs.Pandey not rejected that form.And now after 18 days she is denying to give the optional subject computer science.
Please do some orders so that school authorities stop forcing children's for changing the opted optional subject.

I appeared for the ICSE exams this year i.e. 2012 and have got less marks in my H.C.G. paper.I was expecting 90+ but have got only 83.My roll number is T/3199/126.So, its my kind request to you to revaluate my marks in the above mentioned subject.

Require your expert advise on how to proceed with the attitude of a principal of a christian missionary school.

Series of events:

1) due to my brother’s marriage, we went to request my son’s (studying prep II / Ukg) principal for a 7 days leave.
2) we went to his school on 24th november at 11.30 am and met principal and requested.
3) immediately he started abusing us, “don’t you have any sense” to take leave for your son for his uncle’s marriage.
4) he advised us to change the marriage date when my son has holidays or we have to leave in neighbours’ house and go if required and my brother has to take care of all the activities himself.
5) we requested him that as my father has expired, I being the elder now has to take care of this marriage as per our tradition.
6) he again started abusing that we have to break the traditions and ask them to change the date. (Felt he is insulting the hindu traditions).He even said that because of irresponsible people like us, india is going backward .
7) all the while, we were not offered a seat to sit.
Pointing a finger at me, he said that he can see attitude in my face .
8) finally he advised us to leave the school if we want to take leave and he has several other people to join (I guess some christian community people might have approached him for admission).
Inspite of his rude behaviour towards us, we have not at all retorted. We just kept quite and kept on requesting to grant leave.

9) however we have decided to go to marriage and completed our marriage formalities and my son was back to school on 12th dec and the class teacher advised us to meet the principal for leave approval.

10) on 13th december, I went with my wife and brother to school to meet the principal and to take leave approval.

11) we requested him for the approval of leave for which he denied again saying " u disobeyed me, so please go away from here. "

12)as he was standing in the school ground, we asked him to come to his room and discuss the issue for which he again denied .As we have taken leave without his approval, he asked us to readmit my son into the school paying the whole amount .

13)when my brother started talking to the principal, he stopped him by asking him who he is. And later told him to shutup and get out and told us to take our money back and leave the campus.
Thats when we have raised our voices against him as he was not giving us minimal respect.

14) the staff came over and took us into a room and apologised to us on behalf of the principal and tried to calm us down.

15) later when I went to the pricipal's room, he asked us to pay rs.1000 as fine.And all the while, he was criticising hindu traditions and formalities saying they are superstitions.

16)he abused my wife saying that she is arrogant and a mother shouldnt be like her and she was spoiling the atmosphere.

17)he denied to refund the fees that we have paid till date which he agreed to pay earlier .
Thorughout the whole incident, we were ILL-treated with disrespect and insult.He even said that because of our ego, we are spoiling our child's future.

18)when we were not ready to pay the fine for the mistake we have not done, he asked us to take t.C. And we applied for t.C.

19) because of this whole issue, we felt very much humiliated, abused and suffered mental torture.
We lost our valuable time and now in the middle of the academic year, we cant get admission into any other school and moreover is going to be a very costly affair .

Hi to all those who have posted their complaints/queries on this wall.

I would like to bring to your notice that in order to get your papers re-evaluated/re-totaled, you must refer your issue to your school supervisors or senior teachers.You must do this as quickly as possible because once your mark sheet is printed out, no changes can be made to your results.

However, please keep in mind that going through the re-evaluation/re-totaling procedure also bears a risk.It may bring down your percentage if it is found that you have been awarded more marks than what you deserved.

getting a new admit card is a long process. Rather it would be sujjested that u take an admit card of one of your friends and get it scanned and change the name, roll no and date of birth. i[censored] know photoshop or even paint really well, god enough, if not get it done by any of your friends.
get it printed and xerox it.
in a xerox the change would be close to impossible to be spotted.
and as it is, though it is a very important document, the xerox would do.
i shouldnt be saying this but, one good excuse would be. "i was shifting to a new home in the process of which i lost my original admit card. all i have is this xerox. Please excuse me for this."

Please infrom what is the procedure and necessary infrasrtucture for setup a new ICSE Shool (1 to 12 class)

I had sent an application to the board in the respective address for the issuing of my lost board marks sheet and pass certificate . My name is Ativardhan Jain and I gave My ICSE Examination of Class 10 from Don Bosco School Park Circus Kolkata and my Index No is T /4523/080 . I had given my Exam in the year 2008 . I would be grateful to you if you could tell me where my application is in the Reissuing Process . I would be glad if you could do me this favour .

sir i want to say that i have given the exam of class 12th private bacause i got the compartment of accountancy from kendriya vidyalya g.c.f no 1 last year(2009) but i have not receive my marksheet.
so i request u that plz send my marksheet as soon as possible because its urgent i have to fill the private form of B.Com 1 yr and the last date to fill the form is 15 of january.

We need to be take an serious action. It needs to be remove from there. What knowledge the education system is giving to our childern?

Its has to be viewed with a sense of the times. There was an established government. Unfortunately it was not our own, nor was it democratic but a Government nevertheless. These individuals were working to destabilise the establishment, and did also use violent means.

With hindsight, we can say it was a very noble cause, but history has to be impartial and neutral. Thus, from a neutral point of view, there is nothing wrong in describing them as terrorists, and there is no need for the rest o[censored]s to get offended. The same way that we do not get offended when Lord Krishna is referred to as a butter thief playfully :)

Also, to all the people here, one bit of important information: the ICSE is a a private, non-governmental board of school education in India, for class 10, i.e., grade 10. The Government of India is in no way involved in setting the syllabus or editing the said textbook. Even if this case does come up anywhere, it'll get quashed in no time.

its very difficult to attend papers in icse because of questions from out of syllabus

i am nitin kumar from chennai .i m studying in 12th class of K V NO 2 tambaram. this 3rd march 2010 we had our physics exam of 12th class and we find two questions25th and 26th each carrying 3marks wasout of syllabusof chennai region .no action has been taken .its our humble request please do something regarding this matter .

what is the amount of fees payable for the 2012 examination of the ICSE BOARD by a student of STD XII ? the school has demanded from students to pay rs. 5000/-
