Courtyard Holidays World — Refund required

Hi Sir/Ma’am,

I want to register a complaint regarding the 40, 000 Rs refund I required from Courtyard Holiday World Private Ltd.

I received as call on 23nd Jul, 2021 that I been selected for holiday offer from courtyard and I need to reach Le Meridian hotel to receive the offer. I asked if it is essential to take the package, is it mandatory. They told me not mandatory, so I reached there along with my family at 1900 Hrs on 24th Jul, 2021. After reaching there Mr. Sunny and Mr. Gajendra Singh briefed for 1 and half hour about the holiday package they were providing. Below are some of the highlights.

1. Holiday package cost is 80000 Rs, in which I need to pay 40000 Rs now and rest later on.
2. Package is valid for 2 Adult+ 2 Kids.
3. With this package I can go with multiple room booking.
4. If I need to book any hotel/resort from Courtyard for any other guest/friend I will be given 50% discount.
5. Neemrana Fort is included in package, in fact the first property they show to lure us Neemrana Fort.
6. I will be given free ride with each visit for 100-200m KM
7. Package is valid for 5 years + 3 years(extra)
And the list goes on…..

After briefing all these deals, they forced me to pay the amount instantly. I asked we need to think about it and give us as day time but they mentioned package is for that day only. Then I told I have not enough money that day and I can pay the amount after reaching home. They forced me to pay some amount instantly and rest after reaching home. So I had to pay 10000 Rs on the same day and rest 30000 Rs next day. I asked Mr. Gajendra for terms and condition which he promised to provide me but till now I have not received.
After paying the amount of 40000 Rs reservation team told me that they allow kids below 5 years with this package and if I carry kid 5+ years old I need to pay 1000 Rs+ GST. I asked Gajendra why he didn’t inform me earlier as one my kid is already 4+ years old. Then he told me he will take care of it and I do not need to pay the amount. But after some days he told me age limit is 6 years and I need to pay 1000 Rs + GST. With no option left there I agreed on that point.
On 23 August I sent email to Reservation team to book a room in Neemrana fort and after continuously following up for more than 5 days they informed me Neemrana Fort is not included in their package. I told reservation team that Neemrana fort was shown to me at the briefing on 24th Jul, 2021. I take this matter with Mr. Gajendra Singh and he told me this property might remove from their list. Here again I had to compromise.
On 5th Sept I asked reservation to provide me properties list in Jim Corbett. Then I asked them to book 2 room for me and my family for 2nd Oct till 5th Oct. I asked them to book 2 rooms approx. one month earlier. Here reservation team told me that I can get only one room and second room only if they have available. So for other room they asked me to pay amount. I asked for amount I need to pay for second room and they told me price is 3300 Rs per day. I asked for 50 % discount as promised by their sales representative. Reservation team here told me they can provide 5-10 % discount only. I had to cancel my booking here.

Again, I sent email on 19th Sept to reservation team to book 2 rooms in Jaipur for 30th Oct till 1st Nov, this time approx. 40 prior to schedule date. Again, they told they have only one room available and they cannot provide second room. Second rooms is based on availability.

With this I asked reservation and Customer care team to cancel my membership and pay my 40, 000 Rs refund as I do not want to go with their package with so many lies, I have been told. Customer care asked me to talk to sales representative for refund. I talk to Mr. Gajendra and after hearing my problem he told me to mail customer care team for refund. I follow up with customer care and they refuse to return me the amount stated that they do not have refund policy. They told me I have sign the document. But I signed the document based on the package and deals their representative told me.

Request you to please help me here in getting my hard-earned money. I have been following up with customer care on phone and mails but these guys are not returning my money. I am from middle class family and 40, 000 Rs is a very big amount from me. I am facing mentally pressure because of the call and emails I am following up with Courtyard team. With no other option left I am raising the complaint here in hope of getting my money back. I have attached some of the mail screenshot and WhatsApp chat I had with Sales representative.

I say we file a lawsuit. I am a new victim and i am sure there are a few others too. What do you say?

Hello is your concern taken care of ? Did you get the refund as i am also facing same.problems
It happened will be as well on 15 May 2022. Please help
