We were contacted by Akshit Kakkar from Courtyard Holidays World Pvt Ltd in Feb 2022 and were asked to collect some free vouchers in Novotel, Juhu. On reaching there, we were explained scheme about a Holiday Package whose tenure lasted for 10 years. We were made to pay 2 Lacs for the package through EMI which I have been paying since then. We were provided some complimentary vouchers which included Domestic Holidays of 3 nights, domestic travel expense covered upto 30K. Besides, there were other benefits which are all provided in the documents that we received. These all stays were told to be 4/5 star properties across India.
But, when we tried to book a holiday in Goa between 1-4th June, using our complimentary vouchers, we were given a very low grade property which didn't deserve even 3 star. There were a lot of issues with the property like AC disfunction, no variety in Breakfast, service etc.
We were asked to get the flight tickets ourselves and on production of bills, they would reimburse the amount upto 30K.
But, it has been more than 2 months now, they are not providing the reimbursement.
Also, during the sales meeting, they had said that if dissatisfied with the service, we can just pay for the used stay and opt out of the package. We will get the remaining amount refunded.
After a month or so, we came to know that the name of the company has been changed from Courtyard Holidays to Creekinn Holidays.
Please stop this company from cheating others going forward and let me know how to proceed with filing a case against the company to get our money refunded.
