I would like to inform all consumers to stay away from D-Link Networking products more specifically the routers.
Their routers have a very poor firmware. It has several bugs. My Dlink router failed to work with DDNS since v5.12 I thought it might be fixed in 5.13 but it was not. The same issue continued even in 5.14.
The issue has just present in all softwares.
Sadly Dlink routers do not provide third party DDNS like NoIP.
Moreover now Dlink is shutting down their own Dlink Dynamic DNS service.
So if you are looking for Dlink routers better avoid the same as it's no longer a feature rich device. Was this information helpful? |
