I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding a POCO smartphone I purchased from Amazon India. The order was fulfilled by the seller Darshita Aashiyana Pvt Ltd. The device was delivered to me as a brand-new product and is still within the manufacturer’s warranty period.
Recently, I encountered a display line issue on the device. I promptly took the phone to an authorized MI service center for inspection. Upon examination, the service center informed me that the main display line and strip were missing, and that the phone had been previously serviced or tampered with. As a result, they declined to provide warranty service, citing unauthorized prior repairs.
I would like to state clearly that I have never serviced or repaired the phone at any unauthorized center. The issue was reported and taken directly to the official service center as soon as it appeared. Based on the findings, I now strongly suspect that the phone I received was a refurbished or tampered unit, falsely sold as new by the seller. Was this information helpful? |
