Decathlon — poor product quality and embarrassing customer service
I bought a hiking shoe from decathlon vyttila store and they were offering 2 years warranty. But before one year o[censored]se the shoe is losing it's sole. When i got this to the very shop i bought it, the so called customer service guy told me that the shoe is meant for hiking only and not for casual purpose and that's the reason it's sole is coming out. How can a person who is in his good sense reply like that? How can a shoe which is meant for hiking cannot be used for effortless walking on plane surfaces? He was such an embarrassment, so i asked for the higher authority. But this guy was # than the former one. He told me that i have overused the shoes. How the hell i overused it if i wore the damned shoe only to 2 hikes, 4 parties and while in college lecture halls. Moreover most of the time i was using a vehicle for conveyance.
I told him how i used the shoes and this lunatic was still sticking to his # explanation.
We are no longer interested in your warranty or your product... Atleast you should get rid of mentally # employees like this who doesn't have a common sense and can't even explain why the warranty is being denied. It's really embarrassing
