We are associated with DPS 102 Dwarka Expressway from last (___ years. )
We/school have faced my ups and down in the last 7 years. In the last 7 years school has improved in many ways which has resulted in good strength of students which gave the school mangement confidence to build a new and big campus in sector 103.
We deeply concern that in the last 2 years rather than improvement we have witnessed the downfall of DPS, 102 Dwarka Expressway and with this new session everything is in chaos. We are really disappointed the way school is managing the basic facilities.
We have following points on which we are seeking your intervention :
1. School called parents for uniform but uniforms are not available for all the parents. Parents have to wait for 2-3 hours for their turn and then they were advised that uniform are sold out. School management has all the records i.e how many students they have. We were embarrassed in front of the new parents who took admission after our recommendation that school is not able to provide their school uniform. On which criteria they have selected the vendors for the uniform who could not provide enough uniform on time.
2. Transport is the weakness of DPS 102. We regret to inform you that in the year 2018, one of the DPS bus got fire while students were in the bus. By the grace of Almighty God, nothing unfortunate happened. This time contact number provided for transport cordinators were not working. Parents were unable to contact school/ bus cordinators at the time of pickup and the dispersal. We can understand that this was the first day but alteast there must be someone to whom parent can contact. ACs were not working in the buses.
3. No AC in the classroom even fans were out of order.
4. Students had to stand under the Sun and wait outside the campus for more than an hour before entering in their classes. Please note, they had their bags on their shoulders in this duration.
 5. No one picks call at school reception. No one replies on school portal. Parents have no channel to communicate with school management.Â
6. No toilets for students on their respective floors.Â
7. No water dispenser on each floor.
8.School started offline classes in an under construction campus.
No smart /black/whiteboards in classes. This is a basic requirement for a classroom.
8. No proper arrangements were made for dispersal which later created a big chaos.
9. They couldn't arrange enough drinking water and meal for kids.
 Water in the washroom got finished just after the lunch break.
10. Lift was not operational for kids who can't use staircase due to some health/physical conditions.Â
11. Their academic schedule is also planned in such a manner where kids feel pressure on them in their tender age.
 These things can not be appreciated from the experienced management which is running the DPS- 102 Dwarka Expressway since 2015.
This is management's responsibility to make sure that very basic facilities i.e water, fan, washroom, smartboard and ACs must be in place before starting the school. They were very well aware that from the new session they will start the offline school atleast 2 months in advance.
We are already paying hefty annual charges and tution fee for the facilities that school is supposed to provide our children. But this time School management was not up to mark and lacks in every steps. On every ground school had compromised with the safety and health of students.Â
Our children went school after 2 years and they were every excited. During the orientation, school management was also very excited to welcome our kids but we could see the excited kids but a failed management.Â
First day of the school that too in new campus was supposed to be the happiest day for the students but it came as a horror and worst day of their school life.
We sincerely request your intervention as the way current team had handled the things, they have already doomed the name of DPS Society. School must follow the norms stated by the DPS Society.Â
