[Resolved] Digital India Deal — fraud company | |||
Hi team, with this mail i want to bring to your notice that i have undergone a lot of stress and wasted my time in contacting your customer care. I have paid a total of 76968rs which i want to be refunded. I recieved call from digital india deals on 18th october 2017 stating i have won a prize in your company as a promotional offer and you are giving me dell laptop for which i need to make a purchase of any item from your website which i did. After 1 week you called me stating i need to make a payment of 6500rs as a gst for the laptop, i paid the same on 22/10/2017, after couple of days you guys asked me to pay 12500rs as a insurance amount for the laptop so that it can reach me safely. I paid the same on 25/10/2017, now again after couple of days i got a call and i was told that the laptop is damaged by the courrier and i need to pay 20, 968rs and in return digital india deal will pay me 1, 16000rs, i paid the amount 20, 968rs on 25/11/2017. After this payment i was told that the amount 1, 16000rs is a big amount and one nominee needs to be added, i added my wife as the nominee, now for that they wanted me to pay 37500rs, i did paid that on 27/11/2017. Mr. Vijay malhotra promised me that i will get a call from their sponsors panel and they will release the affidavit for a winning prize of 202459rs within a week. But nothing after this. I tried reaching your customer care and raised complaints online but nothing worked till now. Its been 8 months now and i got not even a single penny back, even last week i recieved a call from mr. Vijay malhotra asking me to pay 4500rs so that my issue can be resolved, i refused to make any payment, request you to make a swift refund of my amount 76, 968rs. I have already contacted consumer court regarding this, they have advised me to lodge a police complaint and contact cyber crime as this fake offerings comes under cyber crime.
