Hi,

I am the new customer of Dishtv service. I am facing problem from three weeks, I am not able to see even a single channel. Customer service agent is saying they did not get SAP form then i have send a fax copy of SAP form on 19 feb and still i am unable to access my channel. I have called many times in customer care but they are saying it will be activated with in 4 hrs. Every day i called and i am listening same thing from your side. My set up box was installed in the month of January and my VC no is [protected]. In my life i haven't see this kind of bad service, now i am telling everyone who is interested to take connection that please do not take Dish TV connection because of your worst service. I want this issue to be resolved as soon as possible.

    Poor Service. VC No. [protected]. Complaint No.11144483 was raised on 30th Jan, 2008 and its been 20 days now while actual turn around time is 24-48 hrs. I spoke to 3 supervisors - Payal, Saurav Chadda and Sunny Talwar - All of them said they're taking ownership of the problem and will have it resloved withing 24 hrs. Forget getting someone to attend to my issue, they didn't bother to follow-up and see if someone has come and fixed the problem of LNB alignment.I'm seriously considering a Consumer Suit against them for the delay and trauma. Anybody else affected...please let me know....we need to file one mother of all consumer case against them and caution Sharukh Khan not to take up such brand building campaigns as it only affects is image. If he wants money...he just has to come on national tv and request for just Re 1 from each citizen.......and we'll be more than happy to give the charity to him....afterall he's asking for just Re.1 against regular charity much more higher than that. I'm sure the cumulative charity amount Indian Citizens will surpass the price he's taken to promote such a sick brand and that too by far and large that's the power of public. Want to see how good is TataSky....do you want some charity sharukh!

      Complain sent through e-mail to various Dish TV officials. From CEO to Area Manager, Bihar

      Dear Sir,

      We were approached by Mr. Saagar Kumar, your area manager for Bihar in October, 2004 for distributorship of Dish TV in Koshi and Purnea Divisions of Bihar. He painted a very rosy picture and hence we agreed on starting Distribution after paying the mandatory security Deposit of Rs. 20000.

      Then he prevailed on us on making an initial purchase of 100 units of STB , LNB & Dish apart from 100 VCs by giving us false impression of market demand and promising dilution of these stocks before Dec' 04.

      But till February, 2005 we saw dilution of only about 50 units inspite of our best efforts and in face of no cooperation from the Area Office. At that time we asked the area office to take remaining stocks at that time and relieve us from distributorship. Mr. Saagar promised to take back our stocks but without our knowledge started transactions through other distributor without taking back our stocks.

      When we protested we received an intimation from company cancelling our distributorship and blocking our online account. Now we were stuck with our stock and due to blocking of online account unable to dilute our stock.

      The prices of Dish TV hardware was dropping continuously. When we tried to reach Mr. Saagar he was incommunicado.

      Finally after much effort around December' 05 we got your area representative Mr. Shamsher Quasimi to meet us at our office. He along with your local distributor Purnea Cable TV drew up a settlement wherein items were to be transfered to the New Distributor "Purnea Cable TV" at prevailing price. The difference was to be paid by your company. Also he promised immediate return of security deposit.

      He was not approachable after Dec'05.

      In January '06 we went to your office to meet Mr. Saagar Kumar promising us immediate implementation of settlement but to no avail.

      We have waited for so long in good faith but honesty is not forthcoming from your officers.

      Please act immediately on our demands or we may be forced to take legal recourse now.

      The details of our demands, ledgers and stocks are put as annexures 1, 2 and 3

      You cannot sell dish tv set top boxes as they like, because of their poor service towards customers. For example i was using for 4 years, but i was forced to leave the only of their poor service.
      I was using a dish tv connection(VC No:[protected]) six months before, then changed to another operator because of the poor customer care service. After six months i have received a call from dish tv saying that i will be offered south platinum pack at a 50% offer, if i recharge with Rs.2100. I confirmed this offer by
      (i)sending a email to the dish tv customer care; the reply from the customer care assured that i am eligible for the offer.
      (ii) i have called the customer care number [protected]; and the customer care executive assured that i am eligible for the offer once i recharge with Rs.2100.
      After confirming two times i recharged my account with Rs.2100.
      ALAS! Now the customer executives says that i am not eligible for that offer. Please don't fall prey to the calls from the Dish tv. GOD... please punish the dish tv and its customer care executives if you are existing!!!

        Hi there,

        Through this site, I would like to highlight the customer pain that Zee Network's DISH TV customers must be going through.

        1. I contacted one of the dealers to get the Dish TV connection for both of my TVs. I was given the offer of One year subscription free with a commitment as a) No charges for extra cable. b) One time full payment of Rs.8500/- for both connections. To my surprise, I was asked by the dealer to pay for extra cable to which I got the help from the company representative Mr.Rajeev (Head North India) and he promised me that no extra charges will be levied. After that, I got the connection for Rs.8500/- only.
        2. At the time of installation, dealer/company's engineer told me about few good functionalities like Active services, language change etc. which are not working till now. I complained the same to Mr.Rajeev of Dish TV (contact no. +91 [protected]) number of times but he also kept promising only. There has been no response from dealer as well.
        3. After repeated follow up, I contacted Dish TV's call center and complained about the same on 26th Jan'08 and they assured me that someone will visit to give demo of the same in detail.
        4. Even after this, no one turned up till 28th Jan'08 and I had to call the Dish TV call center again and this time their version was that there is no complaint no. in the system. I asked him to lodge the complaint now so that I can get the demo done at my place for both TVs. But the agent named Anuj Gaur asked me to get in touch with Dealer rather company. When I insisted, then only, he filed my complaint and provided me this complaint no.11064989
        5. Also, when I asked him to update my email ID in their records so that I can register myself on their website as customer, he didn't respond.

        As a consumer, I want this to get highlighted to the number of people who might be getting into trap of Dish TV Network...

        Dear Reader,
        I Vijay Krishna Srivastava from Guwahati purchase DishTV connection [3months Maxi Scheem] from a dealer last month. From regional pack I chose "Bengali Regional Pack]" but dishTV give me "Punjabi regional pack" though I fill clearly in my registration form. When I call to East Region Customer care centre of DishTV [Kolkata] i.e. phone no.[protected] as per their booklet. The said East Region Customer care centre of DishTV never pickup phone call of their customer. I have done call for help & support atleast 10-15 times even in odd hours too but no response from their side and I spend money by call them 15-20 minutes each call. So it is my suggestion to close your East reagion customer centre if they can, t help theie customer And I suggest to all readers & my friends please don't wish more take a local cable operator because they are more sincere to hear customer problem.

        Plz take it serious , i am reporting this matter to you after my customer complaining me continuously about the unwanted MOD orders .

        I would further strongly suggest that kindly make transparent and secured re-charge possible for all Dish tv customers.in this regard following step would be useful;

        " The MOD order should only be accepted for customers from those IDs where initial recharge had been made . this would stop fake-orders "

        It is for your kind information that i am also user of TATA SKY and VIDEOCon D2H and i had never had any complain like these with them .

          Sir,

          I have purchased the Dist TV in 999/- through the Big Bazar offer on 25th of January 2008 and my Dist Tv install on 26th of December 2008. Executive of Dist Tv told me that u will got the 7days free activation on this offer but till date of installation of Dish Tv i neither seen free to air channel nor any other channel. I m regularly talking with customer care and delar and installation enginer but i m not getting sufficent answer from them. Now i m very upset and i have done spent so much money to talk with him.

          Plz do some needful.

            Hi,
            We are at Chennai.

            We decided to buy Dish TV on Friday 25th January 2008.

            We called up Dish Tv support[protected] and asked for the nearest
            dealer and he gave us the mobile number of Vadivel - [protected].

            We received the dish box in the next one hour and we paid the guy who delivered
            it.

            In the next couple of hours two engineers visited our place to fix the Dish antenna.

            They told us your connection should get active in the next four hours.

            It seems the four hours is still not Over.Today it is Tuesday 29th January 2008 - 7 pm.

            We called[protected] They ask for our VC number [protected].

            They state that it is wrongly given to you.This dish belongs to a person in Delhi.

            I am not sure how and when my Dish TV is going to be active.

            We are not sure who cheated us or who is cheating us.

            I wish I could know the email id of - Sunil Khanna - CEO, Dishtv India

            I am fed up with false promises from you people. I am calling you from 8th of February and its about one month I am facing the same issue however its not my fault. I have made all the payments to the dealer and sent you the receipts of the same to prove that. If its not my fault then why should I suffer? Why I am not receiving any services though I have made all the payments? Every time I call you and get assurity of solution with in 24 hrs. Today I spoke with Jyoti, she also assured me as other people did before. She said that she will sent me an email from her department explaining the issue and time to solve this problem but I haven't received any email yet. You people are making fool of me for last 1 months. But now its not possible for me to tolerate all your non sense promises. I have planned to take help of media and consumer court if you people don't get back to me within 24 hours.

            HI,
            My name is gurbir singh and i am a customer of dish tv I have 3 connections my parent v c is [protected] and child ...[protected] and [protected] . I have been facing problems with the connections since i recharge my parent on 28th april 2009 .TWo of my connection are working fine now my parent vc and vc ending with 65749 . But one of my child vc ending with 98851 is not working properly and most of the channels are showing conditional acess 101 .
            I have contacted the customer care staff many a times spoke to technician but my prolem still has not been resolved. Name of a few c c staff i spoke too sanjay, mohmd hassan, sumit, neelama, sandeep, vinay, sushant, ashwin, paul .DEspite calling you atleast 25 times in 4 day my this issue remains . I have kept my set up box some times at 555 or 999 or 855 as asked .
            I have now placed a complaint with ur c c staff mr dinesh kumar ref no 24565418 that i have run out of energy and my problem has not been resoved so i am not liable to pay you any kind of suscription for v c no [protected] till the problem is solved . And also that when dish tv solves the problem it can call and inform me regarding the same and i will then only pay rent / suscrition from that time onwards. So as and when u solve this problem of conditional access kindly inform me on my reg cell no [protected] till that time i will not pay any rent ., If the problem cant be fixed I will close all my three dish tv connections i expect a full refund of subscription and cost of instrument etc for all my three connection Kindly take matter seriously

            I would like to bring to you notice the poor customer service of DISHTV.

            I have purchase a new connection on 10th November and one guys from M.R. Electronics called Devesh he did the installation on 12th November.
            But after 16th of November I am not able to see any channels.
            it’s asking me to recharge the connection again.

            I spoke to dishtv customer care center many time since 17th but it’s not resolved yet.
            They told me it will be automatically work after 1-2 days.
            Again I spoke to Mr. Gaurav and he made a complaint against this issue and promise that it will be resolved in 24 hours,
            But still it’s not fixed. (complaint no is[protected]

            I have been calling customer care daily and everytime a new
            person comes check my booking ID and give a false hope again that today for sure It will resolved.
            There is not a single person who has called me when I asked to give me the details of their Partner

            I have also sent an email to [protected]@dishtv.in many time but they are not replying at all.It seems to be fake customer services.

            Its one the worst experience of my life. Feel Like Iam cheated and harresed.
            I think DISHTV has taken for granted that the customer cant go now as they have
            already paid the money in advance.

              Last 20 December I found that my set top box was dead and i given it for repair to my dealer on 21st Dec 2007 and he said that it will be repaired and or replaced in 7 days but the commitment was not completed. After many phone calls it was replaced by a old set top box which is also a faulty STB. I didn’t want to take its delivery but when I talk to the costumer care at Noida the customer associate said to me to take its delivery and committed that it will be replaced in 24 hrs. But still today it is not replaced. Every time I call up at customer care call center they say " SIR UR PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED WITHIN 24 Hours". After every 24 hrs i call up and they tell me the same thing. Many customer associate i have talked like Vikas, Vipin, Sachin, Gurgeet and others who’s names is not in my remembrance. Once their Customer care guy Mr. Vikas told me to tell my dealer to give me another STB, when I told this to my dealer they said they don’t have any such information. When I asked my dealer when would I get my STB he said he does not have any idea. Till date not a single person from DISH TV INDIA has contacted me regarding my case. Complaints and complaints and after complaints there are many complaints I have filed but I didn’t find any positive response. What should I do I cannot understand.

              With reference to my complaint I hereby inform you that I contacted to Customer Care where I got quick response in resolving my complaint-- about dish STB or tuning problem started since 31 Sept 08 @ 2.35 pm due to what I could not view any program since then till today 03 Sept 08 i.e. nearly 3 days --which was registered as 15395422 On Dt 1 Sept.08 @ 1.57 pm with the information of nearest dealer Mr. Sandeep Kore having contact No.[protected] & asked by to me to contact him. So I contacted him but first not responded but after sometime he contacted me and told me that the complaint will be solved as quick as possible, I WAITED UNTIL TODAY & contacted him again today @ 3.50 pm Where he assured me to solve it quickly but still today my complaint was not resolved, so I contacted another private person who solved my problem @ about 9.20 pm where I had to Pay Rs.400 /*, So Please the case must be noted and may I request you kindly to allow me view the channels for my lost of 3 days non-viewable setting problem .

              DishTVindia — Not showing channels in freedom scheme

              Sir,

              We are not being provided the service of DTH as the channels already shown in the freedom scheme are not presently being shown by Dishtv service. We want that already showing channels such as Aaj Tak and Saharaone should also be shown in the freedom scheme.

              I would like to bring my complaint in writing since i am very much disappointed by the services provided by DISH TV or i can say services not provided by DISH TV.
              I think WISH NA KARO for DISH TV for what i suffered. I missed all the IPL matches in the last 6 days.
              I would like to bring this to your notice that i face problem in watching Dish TV since it says that i should check my set top box is properly connected to the dish antenna ( 301.SIGNAL NOT FOUND). I checked all that but dint get any success, so i called the customer care number[protected] on 22nd May 08 and the executive asked to me do some checks and finally after checking the setting i was conveyed that there is some problem in the alignment, so i am not getting any signal. I was told that a complaint ( # 13375679 on 22.05.08) was registered and some person will visit to my place to rectify the complaint .
              I requested the executive to send someone on Sunday i.e 25.05.08 bcoz my mother is not well so i should be there when some technician visits my home. I was confirmed that some technician will visit my place on Sunday.
              The whole Sunday i waited for the technician but no one turned up and neither i got a call telling me that no one will come, but my whole Sunday went waste.
              On 26th May 08 i called again I had a talk with Mr Nirav at 22:[protected]and i asked the status of my complaint i was assured that now someone will visit within 24 -48 hrs and rectify the problem. Nothing happened.
              The last call i made to customer care[protected] is on 28.05.08 on 24:00 hrs and talk to Tarranum but i dont trust that my complaint will be handled.
              The time i am writing this mail its 29th May 08 its 00:45 hrs and my complaint is not attended in 6 days .


              AFTER WRITING A WRITTEN COMPLAINT TO THE CUSTOMER CARE I GOT A MAIL THAT THE COMPLAINT IS FORWARDED TO THE CONCERN DEPARTMENT AND WILL BE RECTIFIED WITH IN 24 Hrs. ALSO I WAS TOLD THAT MY REFERENCE NUMBER IS CHANGED NOW.
              SIMULTANEOUSLY I HAVE WRITTEN TO THE FEEDBACK FORM ON THE DISHTV SITE AND THEY WROTE ME THAT MY COMPLAINT NUMBER IS THE SAME.

              ANYWAY I WANT TO TELL U ALL THAT I ALSO HAVE A TATASKY CONNECTION AND ITS FAR FAR MORE BETTER THAN DISHTV.
              No channel is showing Test cricket series in Bihar; no Bihar news on DishTV for months; planning to switch to some other Dish connection.

              I had done complaint on 16/02/09 about my dish tv set of box that viewing channels are after 25 mnt. from starting the set of box.                   I have been having technical issues with my dish for the last month and a half, since End of November, 2007. The problem is I cannot get all channels on my TV, it gives an error saying "Signal not found" when trying to view some channels. I have been calling Dish TV customer care for over a month now and they still have not fixed my problem. We have spoken to a couple of manangers also but nothing happened. Finally, a technician showed up on Saturday, January 5th, 2008, he checked somethings but said another technician will come and fix it. Today, Tuesday, January 8th, the same technician comes and says will require power on the roof to fix the issue. Of course, there is no power on the roof, he simply said, "they cannot do anything unless we get power on the roof". This is ridiculous, I live in a multistorey building, these guys expect me to bring power on the roof or else they cannot do anything....
                  Its not my problem to bring power on the roof, it is their duty to see how to fix the issue. The customer care for Dish TV is useless, they have no customer sense, I will get my money back by returning this junk to them.

                  dish tv dth — dish cant fix the problem till now

                  My name is gurbir singh and i am a customer of dish tv I have 3 connections my parent v c is [protected] and child ...[protected] and [protected] . I have been facing problems with the connections since i recharge my parent on 28th april 2009 .TWo of my connection are working fine now my parent vc and vc ending with 65749 . But one of my child vc ending with 98851 is not working properly and most of the channels are showing conditional acess 101 .
                  I have contacted the customer care staff many a times spoke to technician but my prolem still has not been resolved. Name of a few c c staff i spoke too sanjay, mohmd hassan, sumit, neelama, sandeep, vinay, sushant, ashwin, paul .DEspite calling you atleast 25 times in 4 day my this issue remains . I have kept my set up box some times at 555 or 999 or 855 as asked .
                  I have now placed a complaint with ur c c staff mr dinesh kumar ref no 24565418 that i have run out of energy and my problem has not been resoved so i am not liable to pay you any kind of suscription for v c no [protected] till the problem is solved . And also that when dish tv solves the problem it can call and inform me regarding the same and i will then only pay rent / suscrition from that time onwards. So as and when u solve this problem of conditional access kindly inform me on my reg cell no [protected] till that time i will not pay any rent ., If the problem cant be fixed I will close all my three dish tv connections i expect a full refund of subscription and cost of instrument etc for all my three connection Kindly take matter seriously

                    Dish TV — Cheated by saying the Maxi Plan

                    Dear Sir/Madam,
                    I bought Dish tv this month. The person came to my home for installation has said that if you want to view all the channels you have to take the MAXI plan. For that he said, " You have to pay 309. But if you pay rs.618 you can take the maxi plan for three months.". So i have opted for maxi plan and paid him 618. After five days, many channels from star group and other channels stopped coming. I inquired with the customer care personnel. He is not answering any thing worth and said that my plan is platinum. I was shocked and argued him that i have paid for maxi plan. But he is not ready to hear my words and said "sorry, your plan is platinum". I request you people to solve my problem.

                      Me too suffered the same from the customer care people. I have some allignment problem with my dish TV..I have contacted and discussed the same problem on December 13 th with complain no 10321275. till date no action. I hope they are only interested to make new customer ( average 5000 customer every day). I am 100% sure by this attitude they will come down to 500 customer with in 3 months,

                      We had been given the airtel call centre no. ([protected]) for any query for dish tv. but every time when we call them there is only one option for us. for "Recharge" only. If someone having a different problem then where he/she would call? If someone having not any bsnl line then what happen?

                      Why there is only one option on Airtel Tall Free Number? So, management people of dishtv must take care regarding this otherwise they loos many customers.

                        We have bought the DishTV service in May 2006 in Hyderabad. We tried to renew on June 2007. To pay the annual subscription fee we created an account in www.dishtv.com (We couldn't access that account anymore). We paid two times Rs.3144 and one time Rs.3200. All the three times we received 'Payment failure' message. When we got the credit card bill details it has been deducted thrice Rs.3144 Rs.3144 and Rs.3200 respectively. In that Rs.3144 was credited back. The amount DishTv received from us now is Rs.6344. We subscribed to Dish welcome package only. It costs Rs.3144 per annum. They have to pay back Rs. 3200. They are refusing to pay back that. We have sent few emails, talked to customer care executives more than 10 times (The toll free no. will be always busy, We had made all STD calls). A week ago they gave a fax number to fax the address proof. Sending a fax to DishTV is not that easy! Atleast we tried for half an hour finally it went through. The next day some one calls and tells " We will not refund the money. You can use it for next year subscription". I have told him very clearly," It is my money. You better pay back. Its my decision to make whether to have DishTv or not". He had cut the call.

                        Information regarding next renewal date.
                        I paid the subscription charge of Rs.262 on 9th Feb, VC No. [protected], my subscription date was 11th Feb. As i submitted the money 2 days prior i should not have faced any problems, however now i am unable to view the channels that and when i called up the customer care they said that the payment has been received and kept on saying that my complaint has been logged, after that the customer care representative asked me to hold the call and phone got disconnected, this happened 2-3 times. This is not at all a satisfactory service. I want this issue to be rectified as soon as possible.

                        Dear Dish TV customer care,
                        My STB no is [protected]. I have subscribed to your ‘Freedom’ plan of Rs. 100 for 3 months ending 26/11/2008. Like many of your customers, I have also been cheated by you as you have withdrawn most of the channels excluding the Bengali and news channels. Your withdrawal includes all entertainment channels including the movie channels. This is there for last one month or so. I have tried to contact your customer care toll free number, but wonder whether that no. exists at all or not. This no. is totally inaccessible. You service is full of double standards: you have an easy access Airtel no. for renewal, but for complaint customers have no way other than to use the paid telephone number. Then your executive can be contacted after listening to a long boring ‘wish karo dish karo’ advt by paying from the customers’ own pocket.
                        Now you have introduced the ‘Silver pack’ where you are providing 115 channels at the cost of same Rs 100 only. Then why you have withdrawn the channels which I have already subscribed to? How can you modify an earlier agreement without any information to the customer? Earlier I was thinking that after entry of other digital TV services in the market, your service will be improved in terms of more benefit to the customers. But you are nowhere near that, instead you have continued your cheating of the existing customers. I strongly object to the withdrawal of the channels which I have subscribed to under ‘Freedom’ plan and request you to restore the same in no time. Otherwise, I will have no option other than to go the consumer court for your cheating and deficiency of service. At the same time I will discontinue your service and look for other available better options in the market. I hope that your good sense will prevail and you will take immediate necessary action to rectify the problem.

                        Date on which Set Top Box was stolen from my house - 5th June 2007.

                        What I am expecting from DISH TV Group:-
                        1. Is there any way to trace where the set top box is been operated these days.
                        2. If yes then we will be in position to trace the theft.
                        3. Is it possible that the people who has stolen the set Top Box will throw away the Card and use that set top box with different card.
                        4. Do we get spare car OR Set top Box.
                        5. If there are any other possibilities by which we can trace the stolen set top box with teh VC number then please let me know.

They added it but disconnected CNBC. on contacting no satisfactory reply. How they can cut any channel for which payment has already been made. Any advance payment is to be made effective from the due date of renewal and not from the date of payment.

                        I took Dish tv Connection when it itroducedfirst in the market, but from that very day onwards it has been noticed that the Company do not have proper machinery/ infrastructure to provide the Customer Proper and promt service,

                        I want to bring to your notice the pathetic service levels displayed and wrong information given by your distributor, A.S.Vision Infotech, Mumbai 400090. Facts of the case are as under:

                        I am a Dish TV subscriber with VC No.[protected] since 2007.My STB No. was 0778ABF32DS16303.
                        On 7/11/09, I faced a problem with reception and the Error displayed was 301. I called up A.S.Vision Infotech who sent their technician Zaheer Khan that evening.After checking and charging Rs.165, he said the STB had to be repaired and he would bring it the following day.
                        On 8/11/09, I made innumerable callas to AS Vision, when at times they said it will be delivered by afternoon while at times they said it was being repaired and finally they said it cannot be repaired. I was given an option to buy a 'second sale' STB for Rs.750 which they said was supplied by Dish TV only.They said it had a 1 month warranty.
                        I went there the same day, paid Rs.750, got the STB No. 07B8ABF40DSI8258 after checking.It took me innumerable phone calls and I had to wait till the afternoon of 9/11/09 before I could view all the pay channels. This was not for long though.The reception was in fits and starts, sometimes with a loud sound, sometimes we had to switch on and off repeatedly to get it started, sometimes it would not switched off at all.Finally on 11/11/09, I called up A.S.Vision and fired them.
                        They sent their technician Zaheer Khan on the same day and he delivered the 'said to have been repaired' STB on the evening of 12/11/09. We asked him to check the performance at our place and withing 5 minutes it conked off again.He again took the STB for repairs promising to come back on 13/11/09.
                        Since morning, I have called up AS Vision at least 6 times and every time a different story is told--first they said it is repaired and by 4PM, I would get the STB, then they said the technician would call, later they said by 6-6.30 PM he would reach as he had already left. When I tried calling them at 6.30 pm, THEIR OFFICE WAS CLOSED. WHY CHEAT YOUR CUSTOMERS AND MISLEAD THEM?
                        I then called up your callcentre and registered this as a serious complaint(Complaint No.[protected]. I was told by the executive would call me in 2 hours but till now I have not heard from him.

                        I have spent 1 whole week running behind your useless and inefficient distributor A.S.Vision Infotech who not only do not know their jobs but try to bluff their clients.Am afraid Dish TV is going to earn a bad name if it has such distributors.I am more concerned since I am ashareholder in Dish Tv as well, my DP ID being IN 301151 and Client Id 20503787.

                        I expect my problem to be sorted out POSITIVELY TOMORROW.Forget the fact that it is a Sunday. If A.S.Vision had cheated me by giving a STB which was not fully functional, I would be constrained to take both A.S.Vision & Dish TV before a Consumer Forum. Notwithstanding the fact that I am a shareholder I would not hesitate to take this up with the Press as well.

                        If the damned STB given by A.S.Vision does not work tomorrow, they or Dish TV has to give me a new STB and also compensate me and my family for the mental harassment .

                        I WANT THIS SORTED OUT TO MY FULLEST SATISFACTION TOMORROW.

                        We are a subscriber of Dish TV bearing VC No. [protected] by the name Sanjeev Bohidar,Sambalpur.We have deposited the subscribe money in 30th of any month, in the mobile the message is coming subscribe before 29th of next month. When we are subscribe the amount on 29th then message is coming subscribe before 28th. What is this ? We don't Know. When we are subscribing on 30th of any month , next we should subscribe on 30th of next month, This should be the right way of subscribing payment. Now our connection is not in active mode. Please ask the Dish TV , in this way they will take one month subscription extra from a subscriber. If this procedure they will follow then we will bound to close transaction with DISH TV .

                        This is Gyan Deep Singh from Bangalore.

                        I got 45 days of dish tv platinum package with my Smasung 32 inch LCD . The installation was done by following dealer:-

                        My dealer activated my connection on 09 Mar 11 . However, i have not been getting any signal and error messages of "recharge your account " and "poor signal strength" till today.

                        I have not been able to watch anything on my TV due to the dish not working.I lodged a complaint at call center on 09 Mar 11.

                        DishTV India — No Home delivery as claimed after 11 days

                        I have purchased a dishtv connection online on 20th March 2011 and paid the sum as mentioned Rs 690.00 on the web. It was clearly mentioned that it would be delivered in 3-5 working days.
                        I waited for 5 days but no body came and delivered & installed it at my end. Every day someone from dishtv calls me and asks about the delivery. On explaining the above story false committment is made and nothing good happens then. Again next day same thing happened and it is still going on. Today is the 11th day and nothing is at my end while my Rs 690.00 is in Dishtv's pocket. They have cheated me. Kindly suggest me a solution.

                            service is not fair as i am informed of not getting clearity and some channels are not receiving due to signal locked
                            and the technicians are not doing well their jobs but of asking money before visiting and rectifying the problems,

                            Inspite of having made advance payments to DISH TV we are not getting any channels. We launched a complaint on 23-05-08 and after that have made numerous calls to their customer care but till date nobody has cared to get it resolved. this is the worst service we have encountered and regret getting DISH TV connection.

                            Service if Dish TV is pathetic. I have experienced a number of problems with Dish TV. Even money is there on my account, they will disconnect the access and you have to call them several times to resume the service. If some tuning problem comes, they will promise you in your 1st call that they will send technician in maximum 48 hours and for me it took 9 days. Please note that I kept on calling all 9 days only they solved. So each time you call some new executive would say same thing another 48 hours. Think before you buy Dish TV it’s a big headache.

                              Dear Sirs,

                              My experience with customer care cell of Dish TV India has been pathetic.

                              I've been away from my home for past 3 weeks. Duing this period the services of Dish TV were not used. When I came back yesterday, I was not able to view even a single channel.

                              I tried reaching the local franchisee of Dish TV here in pune. I was told that the person would reach my house yesterday evening by 7 PM but in vain. Further when I called them at 7 PM yesterday, I was told that he should be able to make it by today early morning. But again no luck.

                              So we (self, my son Praveen & My son-in-law Guruprasad) opted to go through the customer care no of Dish TV[protected]. I have had a talk with the customer executives in the sequence below:
                              1. Do not remember the name: Told us to be on hold so that he can transfer the call to technical team. But technical team didnt pick up the phone for 10 minutes.
                              2. Puja: Told us that she feels its an issue with dish alignment. For this we need to get the service from their executives and should pay for it. When we asked her about the problems in alignment whether attributes to the bad installation from DIshTV, she forwarded the call to Mr. Sandeep who is her Team Leader.
                              3. Sandeep: Talked about the complaint for a while and forwarded the call to Mr. Ranjan who seems to be a technical expert.
                              4. Ranjan: Rajan felt to be a better expert so far and could help us in getting 14 channels on the channel serch option but still they were not visible. He was in midst of resolving the issue but the call got dropped.
                              5. Pushpa: We called again and got in touch with Ms. Pushpa, who we requeted to connect us to Mr. Ranjan. She confirmed that he is busy and she would book a call back which should be made within half an hour.
                              6. Prerana: As we didnt receive the call for around an hour, we called up again to customer care no. which was attended by Ms. Prerana and she too confirmed that Ranjan is busy. We asked her to put us with a senior in their team to escalate the matter. She confirmed that she will connect us with supervisor Mr. Varun. But don't know why, the call was abruptly cut.
                              7. Varun: We couldn't reach this person till end.
                              8. Tarannum: She looked to be more cooperative lady. But by this time we had lost our patience as it was 12.45 PM. The first call in the day was made at round 9 AM. We asked her to connect us to their manager and nobody else thinking he should be a better help. We were confirmed his name is Mr. Pawan Kumar. Meanwhile she connected us to Sandeep who again came into picture.
                              9. Sandeep: He now started telling us that it's an alignment issue and we should take chargeable service. This he somehow missed when he had first call with us. Surprising though, we told him to continue what he is doing about the issue. But we confirmed that we would like to speak to manager to convey the problems we faced. He confirmed that he is connecting us right away to Mr. Pawan and again the call was abruptly disconnected.
                              10. Pawan: We again couldn't reach him.

                              So conclusion is that spending around 4 hours with customer care team of Dish TV at this moment, we do not have even a complaint number for our original complaint. Further the complaint against the poor service by customer care is also not lodged by Dish TV support team.

                              I also face the similar problem with Dish TV in which none of the customer care executives are unable to resolve my problems. Everybody provides different solutions but none has resolved the problem so far. If this kind of service continues, I think Dish TV cannot withstand in the market to do their business. Simply by advertising through Sharukh will not help in expanding thier business. The customers should file a case against these people to ask for compensation.
                              Thats so very true. I don't know posting grievances out here is going to provide any kind of solution or not, but the fact remains Dish TV has been unable to live to its commitment. I too have been facing the same problem from months in a row. Sometimes its got to do with some technical problem and sometimes installation or alignment problem. I have been promised that a technician would visit my place soon within 4-24 hours. Days have gone by, but there is no sign of a technician. I fail to understand the actual calculation of the duration these guys believe in. I mean to say 4-24 hours = how many days. Its high time someone could guide us a method to tackle this situation and book these guys for cheating and fraud. A piece of advise for SRK - wish karo ki humari dish tumhe saaf naa karni pade. paise leke product promote karne se pehle ye to dekh lo ki kitne dish saaf karne ki aukaat rakhte ho.
                              I bet Shahrukh should rethink over the statement which he churns for Dish TV. The problem is, Dish TV does n't have a robust system and i feel the system works like a mad bull. It can downgrade our package anytime, when you are about to watch 6th sixer hit by Yuvraj you see a CONAX 'No Access' message on your tv, you try to call cc's 180... number which i doubt if exists. I've faced following issues in the last 3-4 months:
                              1. Online payment is not reliable. It throws error message even payment is made successful.
                              2. Cc' chaps are not so helpful and sometimes they talk foolish.
                              3. Their system automatically downgrades our package.
                              4. No instant fixes to our any problem.
                              5. Its too costly to call thier technicians to fix any probelm.

                              I am sure most of the Dish Tv useres would have faced one or all of the issues mentioned above.
                              Don't know when these would be sorted out.

My set top box was dead which is in warranty period I gave it to dealer. After 15 days when I get a replaced set top box it is very old so I didn't want to take its delivery but when I talk a costumer associate he said me to accept it and they will replace it after 24 hrs but after 4 days it was not replaced. I am taking regularly but my problem is no resolved yet today. I am thinking to take an action on this problem if any person gives some suggestion it will be my pleasure.

                              I called the customer care for the 4th time today. now the status from their end is changed to Dish MAXI and payment what i made is there. but on my side its not there. when i checked with online login i got the status updated.

                              I also have the same experience. Even though I renewed for Dish Maxi package, the system automatically downgraded me and I am not able to watch any of the channels, except regional pack.

                              As usual, no one picks up in customer care. I tried to reach through the complaint box in their internet site & every time, I make the complaint, I receive the message "Not deliverable' in my inbox.

                              So, there is now way you can make a complaint to them

                              When I purchased dishtv on 04/06/2006 with 1 yr package I was told that even if I do not renew I would be able to see fta channels. I did not renew thinking my daughter's study may be affected and however I was viewing some free to air channels.

                              But about a /two month ago they have discontinued all the channels showing a pop up to contact customer care. To answer to my email they advised me to subscribe for a package to see fta also.

                              I did it on 24/03/2008 online by paying but only Rs.100 as test basis for one month for Bangla package. I noticed in the net that they have received the money, valid upto 24/04/2008 and advised me that channels would be available by 12 hours vide a note. Again while channel search channels were coming 101 to 325 with heading Big TV which are not accessible.

                              Now 3 days passed and I contacted several times today 27th through 1860...later learnt that realignment is necessary to be done by technician costing Rs.160/-. But not as final one time. AS They also said that this realignment may be necessary again costing necessary charges. So there may be Rs.100 + 160/- every month even. And out of 30 days thus 3 days gone.

                              Luckily I have not given 1 yr subscription. So it is better to opt for DD DTH.

                              Hi… DishTV is the most pathetic customer care service one could ever come accross.
                              1.Toll free Call center numbers are always busy
                              2.Paid call center numbers put you through long waiting time before some one responds.
                              3.Once you could reach the call center executive he/she seeks so many information so you start regretting why you were so desparate to talk !
                              4.After explaining complete details, the call center executive puts you on hold and the call gets disconnected.
                              5.Keep on re-trying and same event will repeat for 10 times (believe me… it has happened with me)
                              6.11th time that call center guy told me that he is not able to fetch my account details on his computer so call back after 15 mins.
                              7.I also tried to login my complaint through their website which works fine when you renew your account and pay online, but once you fill in the complaint & press submit button … it just refuses to respond !!
                              8.Tried sending email to both the email ids mentioned above… no luck/response so far :-(
                              9.My local dealer is an absolute cheat and hence i resorted to make payment online. (no help expected from him any more)
                              10.Accounting system is utmost clumsy and ambigious… inspite of making annual renewal it still says 3.22 Dr.
                              11.Annual renewal date is short of 5 months… god only knows why !!! (renewal date was originally 24 may 2008, i renewed it on 21 may 2008 and the next renewal date it shows is 21 Jan 2009) … whoof !!

                              I don’t know whom should i contact in such situation and regret my decision of buying DishTV more than ever now.

                              This is the most horrific experience I could ever have.
                              I installed Dishtv only 16 days back. But the kind of issues that I am facing are so much that I am bound to say that I did a mistake.
                              So many times it happens that I cant view any channels it says that check the installation.
                              When I call the customer service they simply tell me that a technical guy would come at your place
                              within 24 hours and do the re alignment of your system.
                              Infact when the guy came to install the Dish at first he was checking the signal strength by manually
                              aligning the dish in the appropriate direction by simply guessing. The moment he got some beep sound
                              he stopped the movement of the Dish and came down from my roof and said its now done.
                              I told him that the signal strength is too weak why dont you set it at a minimum of 80% ? He said
                              you will be able to see all the channels dont bother about the signal strength.
                              I was simply amazed and shocked at sucha reply.
                              But still I said its ok let it be as it is. One fine Day it rained and I couldnt get even 1% signal.
                              It was showing that the dish is not connected properly..
                              When I wrote an email I was told that its a global phenomena that when its heavy clouding around you would not be able to view any channels.
                              SO why do they cheat people by advertising false claims. I think my cable wallah was a much better option than Dish Tv. because whenever I used to call him he promptly used to send a person to rectify the problem.
                              I regret my decision of buying DishTV and would advise all people who are reading it that PLEASE
                              DO NOT BUY DISH TV IN INDIA. IT IS THE MOST PATHETIC SERVICE PROVIDER YOU CAN EVER COME ACROSS.

                              Is there anyway I can get talk to person you can read and understand english in dishtv and resolve my issue.

                              DishTV — Dish just never works

                              I just bought over a new connection three days back through a dealer of Dish Tv. The dealers name is AARR services - Phone number is[protected]. The sales man's numbers are [protected] - Vishal and [protected] - Rakesh.

                              In fact even when connection was given on Saturday 2nd AUgust, 2008, it actually got registered on 4th August, 2008 dues to weekend.

                              In last three days, television has caught right signals only for 2-3 hours, the engineer has come twice still no signals.

                              We called to say, we are not satisfied with this kind of connection and refund our 3990 rupees, they are saying whether or not you get signals, once you have paid money we will not refund. Please help us in getting ridh of this dish tv that has become a nightmare for us as it never comes.

                              i was not getting doordarshan on dishtv.i lodged a complaint.they told that beacuse of wind dish would have changed direction.but i was getting all other channels.when i contacted service person in goa they asked me to change the dish.they reasoned that since dd & dishtv satellites are different we have to change our dish.for that they are charging Rs.350/- for dish and Rs.250/- as installation charge.if this is the kind of service they are providing what should i do.if there is a problem with the dish they should have changed it free of cost as promised by them.now should i goto consumer court.if so what is the procedure.pls comment

                              My brother bought a Big TV DISH and after installation it was not working so he called several times to toll free no, it was always assured that some technical crew will attended but it has been more than 3 weeks.

                              Dish TV India — pathetic customer service and inefficient

                              My VC no is [protected] and my subscription was cut on 30th november. When i contacted customer care they admitted that it was an error on their part to stop service as they had wrongly overcharged me.i had lodged a complaint no 18085947 on 1st december 2008, 8 am when the customer service promised that corrective action would be taken from 4 to 24 hrs. 58 hrs have lapsed since then and nothing has happened except for the frantic calls i make to the customer care in which they respond that they will call back in half an hour followed by resumption of the services but invain. What is the use of customer care if no action can be taken even in 24 hrs as promised?(which in itself is a long time to take).

DISHTV, published that on recharge that Zyada Recharge Zyada Return, say for Rs. 700/- Will get Rs.875/-, but on practically what we are getting???? there term is the customer need to contact and request the Dishtv within 15 day of recharge otherwise void the scheme, we never seen the term. Secondly what they are giving us, they will give us a choose contained some unnecessary chanel of their choice if any want, can take. Is not this cheating the common people of India. More over they are reducing the renewal date as their wish, say 2 to 10days.

                              My Name is Ajay Kumar. I book dish TV on 12th April 2010 by prepaid facility given by dish Tv website. My amount is deduct same day from my account. I sent scan copy of my amount deducted amount to Dish TV. I sent it to customer care, dish TV Supervisors, technical department but after 4th day they have no status of query. I make 30-40 times call to customer care but they guys have no access to retrieve my process. I talk to dish TV customer care seniors but they have same answer that : "Sir i forwarded ur query to concern department" . I can understant that in this big Brand have no any process to solve my problem.

                              Seriously very poor response from customer care departement and backend.

In that case the renewal of my V.C should have been up to[protected] if not it would have been[protected] due less payment of Rs 4.00 .

                              Same problem me. I called up to Dishtv CC as STB remote is not working(27/11/2010, 6:50PM). Then person (Vedivel P) logged a complaint[protected] and told that technician is going to visit my place by next 24 HRS.Then immediately i got a SMS from DishTV with the call no. After 15 mins i got a call from the dealer that we were going to send our technician by tomorrow 10 o'clock. Today(28/11/2010) after 11.00 am again i called to that dealer, dealer told that we had some issue. They were going to come to my place by 12 Noon / 1PM. At 11.35AM i got a call from the technician, that change your remote by going to some electronics shop as we didn't have the stock of remote. At the sametime i called up to DishTv CC informed the same to the CC person(Bhaskar).He told me that technician will be there at your place by 3PM. After 3PM again i called up to Dish Tv CC they told me that definitely technician will be at your place by 6Pm. Again the same story no one came to my place. Then i send a SMS to dishtv for the call me service. Then i got a call from Noida they asked me what is the issue. I told all the story. now they were saying that your STB is out of warranty.Here i am not getting one thing when yesterday i called to DishTV CC they told that your STB is under warranty.Here things are not matching. After lots of argument they told that they would send their technician but it would be under chargable basis.But i was not agreed.Now(8.35pm) when i called up to[protected] they(Naufer) told that your STB is under warranty till April 2011. Now what is this? Does DishTv CC has correct information about their customer's STB? Then again i explained the whole story to him.He informed me that your issue is under process.It would take another 24 HRS to resolve the issue.Now here he promised me that technician will be at my place by tomorrow(29/11/2010, 7PM). Let's see what is going to happen? Here i have a question to the DishTv are they No.1 or this is just a frame they are following.Even i said that TATA Sky is very good one. I have a TATA Sky connection in my home and it is working far far better than this worst DishTv.I didn't face anyissue for the TATA Sky.

                              There is a bunch of clowns at the Dish TV customer care centre. Now I feel like giving a big kick to that famous bolloywood star who is promoting Dish TV. I had the same bitter experience with Dish TV beteen 3May to 5 May 2011. My problem was explained as alignment problem and a complaint number given in the morning with an assurance that service man would call. Nobody turned up and in the evening SMS came that problem attended and service restored. The whole drama was repeated on three days subsequently. Finally on my own a local technician was called to the house and problem was fixed.

                              Agree with the comments by all the users of DIST TV. Last couple of week I am facing an issue with DIST TV and non from the customer service desk are able to help.

                              I had asked for downgrading the package from South Gold Saver to South Family. For which I had pay 40/- and surprised to know that there are no charges for upgradation of package.
                              After speaking to multiple people, I got it downgraded and asked them to include Telugu 1 & 2, Kannada 1 & Tamil 1 as part of alacarte pack of South Family. As I was not getting the things done from Customer care by calls, I opted for email requests. So I have evidence of all the requests. But our Customer care guys have included Kannada 1 & 2, Telugu 1 & Tamil 2 as part of the package, when I again asked about this, they have included Telugu 2 and charged me for it.

                              Clearly mistake is from their end, but they are not responding properly and when I had written about this, they reponded in such a way that they will not be able to resolve it because of the their company norms, they will not deactivate the alacarte for less than a month itseems?

                              Whom should i approach to get this one resolved, no escalations points that we can reach. After my experience of dealing with Customer care executives, the conclusion is they dont know how to speak English.
                              I also facing the problem with dishtv and I this we all should take a action this company and complete banned this company for providing dish.

They assured to change to south family pack from south silver sports pack. It has already passed more than 1 week neither they changed package nor they have contacted me.                               I think I have explained the matter in very simple ENGLISH... and there are no chances of misinterpretation.

                              I am not asking for the refund of Rs 21 payment charged by you for recharging after the due date. I am asking you to compensate for the delay on your part of one day in re-storing back the services. the payment was made on the 7th, service resumed on the 8th night. the due date is calculated from the 7th... where as it should be from the date of service resumed... Now what do u do about this. pl explain.

                                  I've sent many mail and spoke with the customer care, however there is no response from them. They opened many tickets and no follow-up. The agents always give false promises regarding up coming channels. The signal is pathetic. If there is wind, I don't get any channel.

                                  You can see the following mails which I communicated to the customer care. I want to know whether there is any control mechanism to check this kind of poor customer service. Where can we log customer greviencies.

                                  I want to share my feed back regarding the customer care, please take this issue seriously so as to maintain good relations with the customers.

                                  (1) Whenever I call to the customer care, they are keeping the customers in line for more than 30 mins without giving proper information.
                                  (2) Following up or tracking of the tickets are very poor.
                                  (3) There are many tickets raised on one single issue, the customer care representative and the dealer also accepted the mistakes from their side once during a call; however that issue was not resolved.
                                  (4) Customers are not being informed or updated on the issues or the status on their complaints.
                                  (5) The language of the customer care representatives is pathetic.
                                  (6) The way of communication of the customer care representatives is totally unprofessional.

                                  I’ve lost some amount because of your mistake, I assume that I’ve given to either bigger or any charitable trust, please enjoy that amount (though it is not big, since I feel pity bad about that I’ve to use this kind of language).

                                  My humble request is please conduct the survey on the customer care service and take decision to give better service and maintain good relations with the public. Today there are only two private service providers in DTH industry; defiantly the service providers will multiply and public of course choose the good service provider. Try to be good with the public.

                                  I want to give one suggestion, though it may not be the best, but defiantly not a bad idea at this current scenario. One why of giving good service is - if you currently handling the service, please hand-over this to good vendor, or if you already given to vendor, please hand-over to different vendor for the better service.

                                  I am in chennai i have made a request to the customer care to make repair but they are not making any efforts to repair my problem.
                                  Past 3 days iam not able to see Sun network channels,i called more 10 times to dish tv customer care.They didn't repond me properly.This is very very poor customer care service.Atlast one guy your sun network is activated,after his call iam not able to see Star Vijay also along sun network.I had confirmation call from [protected]......Now Iam keeping dishtv just as "Toy" in my house.

                                  For dishtv renewal their are number 0f ways by which you can renew your connection: Through credit card-- you can renew your connection through credit cards on their website. Next you can renew it by ITZ CARD available at any dealer, further you can pay by cheque, demand draft and pau order to dish tv, but best what i suggest you is through online using credit cards or through ITZ cards.

                                  My VC number is [protected].I have paid Rs.595 for three months subscription, but the my account displays only Rs.525.When i called service center to enquire about this there is no proper response. I am also not getting the appropriate number of channels for the money i have paid.

                                    I have brought the Dish TV with DISH Maxi package with TAMIL/Malayalam Language zone. I have paid an amount of Rs.4290 for this. But now I am not able to view any of the Tamil/Malayalam channels. This is very frustrating for me. For this I have created two service request and more than three times I have contacted your contact center. This is the third letter that I am sending to you and till now no response from your end to rectify the mistake. In the Subscriber Application Form (SAF) I have clearly mentioned the same. Could you please let me know who the officer in charge of this activity? I can’t wait anymore after paying the huge mount as per your norms and not able to the view the desired channels. I get the message 101.Conditional Access when I try to view the Tamil/Malayalam Channels. I have no hesitation to go to Consumer Forum to rectify this issue. So please do this as soon as possible to avoid further consequence.

                                      I have made to may mails to customercare but no response or out come has received. Now I am to inform you that I have purchased a dishtv from authorised
                                      dealer at Lucknow . Dealer has
                                      assured/committed me that all free channels will be regularly telecast afeter the
                                      complition of paid period. It works for some time, but after expiery of 10
                                      days dishtv withdraw one by one-free channels. Now all news channels
                                      including entertainment channels except DD News have been withdrawn. It is
                                      hard to understand for me, why your dealers committed unnecessry things
                                      which you cannot fulfill.
                                      it is my humble request to you to kindly restore the services (free
                                      video channels) at the earliest. so that me & my family smoothly enjoy
                                      dishtv services. for this act of kindness i shall be thankful to you.

                                        PATHETIC SERVICE , my connections is also not working from past three days.
                                        Even I spoke to area manager but still no response.
                                        DEALER TOOK ENTIRE MONEY FROM ME AND PAID THE ACTIVATION FEE AFTER 5 DAYS.
                                        HE DOES NOT EVEN PICK MY CALLS .
                                        NO RESPONSE FROM CALL CENTER NO. EVEN AFTER 15 MINUTES.
                                        WORST THEN GOVT. TELECOM COMPANIES.
                                        LOCAL CABLE PLAYERS ARE BETTER.
                                        WE NEED SERVICE NOT SHAHRUKH KHAN...
