I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the conduct of delivery staff during my recent order.
It is usual for delivery persons to call before delivery, which often appears to be an attempt to shift the responsibility onto customers and avoid the 30-minute delivery rule. I was (not i am not) regular customer of Dominos and this happens on every order. Additionally, Dominos app allows location selection via a map (Google-based). If the map displays my colony incorrectly (MMTC Colony shows as MMTC, Sarvodya Colony), this is not my fault.
Despite my attempts to explain my address, the delivery boy tried to put the onus of providing the wrong address on me. Subsequently, a Manager called, and I clearly asked for the order to be delivered without further calls. However, I received another call from a lady from the store who spoke over me without listening, forcing me to drop the call.
This experience was unpleasant and unprofessional. It is disappointing that the store personnel are not familiar with nearby locations despite technology-based support for mapping addresses. Was this information helpful? |
