Doormint — Laundry Service

Being a working professional, I along with my wife have been using the laundry facility from Doormint for over 6 months without any issue. However, I was surprised when the clothes (25 numbers) I had submitted on the 7th of September, 2016 had not been delivered even after 5 days. Booking Id 157200. Usually the turn around time is 4-5 days maximum. I started following up with the company post which they sent a mail saying that they had mixed up the clothes since the had not tagged it properly. They sent us pictures o[censored]ntagged clothes from which we had to identify clothes that belonged to us. Post this, there was again no response for the next 2-3 days after which I started following up again with their customer service and was given excuses - manpower issues, logistics issues, etc. Finally, the clothes got delivered on 17th Sep and the delivery boy just dropped them and ran away without giving the receipt. Upon trying to call him with the number provided, he was not picking up my calls. When we counted the clothes, we were shocked to know that there were only 19 in all (12 shirts, 7 trousers against 15 shirts & 8 trousers). The Doormint team had also updated the delivery status as completed in their app. Upon calling the customer care, we were asked to 'describe' what exactly is missing. In fact, fortunately for us one of the clothes identified in the photos sent to Doormint was also missing. They have handled this incident very unprofessionally and if I do not get my 4 missing clothes back (easily worth Rs 2000+ each purchase price), I need the consumer forum to take strong action against such companies which are operating in the service industry without any professionalism or valid credentials.
