D.V.C. — non-co-operation of dvc authority in putting signature for sanction of family pension from indian army

Address:Bardhaman, West Bengal, 713212

This is for your kind information that my husband lt nitya nanda sanyal was an employee of dvc dtps unit from 05.12.1975 & retired from service w. E. F 01.02.1993. After his retirement he was getting pension from dvc & from indian army since he was an ex-serviceman. My husband expired on 01.10.2017. After his death i am getting family pension from dvc till now. I, at that time opted for dvc pension only since i had option for any one pension either from dvc or indian army. However as per circular dated 17.01.2013 of ministry of finance, deptt of pension & family pension affairs, i am now eligible both family pension & i have applied for the same in the year 2016 & in turn army authority sent some forms one of which to be certified by dvc authority wherein some particulars of my husband & myself is required. I approached to dvc dtps unit pension deptt for providing such certificate in the prescribed format in the month of february 2017. They immediately refused to provide such certificate rather they referred the matter to their head office at kolkata. I went to dvc tower kolkata on 06.11.2017 for obtaining the cerficate. However to my utter surprise addl director (Hr) refused to provide such certificate rather he referred the matter to dvc dtps unit as the record is lying with dtps since my husband was working as security guard. Immediately on 07.11.2017 again i visited to dtps unit & met with mr chandra mohan, addl director (Hr) for obtaining such certificate. Again mr chandra mohan referred the matter to mr paswan (Ao-admn), he in turn referred the matter to mr s. S. Dirghangi, security officer. Finally mr dirghangi refused to certify that my husband was an employee of dvc dtps unit. I have shown my ppo & my husband's ppo to asstt director (Hr) mr sinha & requested him to put his signature still i could not persuade him and the matter is in stand still condition. Sir you can appreciate that an woman at the age of 73 yrs going at kolkata & again at dtps on the next day is very difficult & taking dilly dallying tactics by dvc authority is very painful and also shows bad image of corporation.

Under the circumstances, i would request you to look into the matter and arrange for speedy redressal of the case.

Thanking you

Yours faithfully,

Pranita sanyal
