I had raised claim regarding Product not as expected in eBay claim id (600052). You can find the claim details using the claim id. Following are the details of the claim :
I have purchased monitor ViewSonic VX2370smh led (Serial Number - TA[protected]) from computersale.in on ebay, India on 29th July 2014. I recieved the monitor on 4th July 2014. After using it for some time I saw dead pixels at multiple places on the monitor. Seller had mentioned 3 years manufacturer warranty in the listing, so as per Ebay policy I raised a complaint regarding dead pixels on monitor (Complaint ID - CUST14H187C) with Viewsonic Customer Care.
ViewSonic customer care told me 2 things :
1) Invoice sent by seller is not valid.
2) If customer purchased any view sonic product through online shopping portal, Then view sonic will not be providing service for the same.
Regarding first point, I had earlier contacted the seller, the seller has sent me 3 different invoices all of which have been rejected by Viewsonic.
Coming to second point, seller had described 3 years manufacturer warranty on Ebay listing but Viewsonic Customer care is saying product is not under warranty.
So I am not getting the 3 years Manufacturer Warranty described by the seller in the listing. I have email from ViewSonic customer care telling me the above 2 things. I have attached a screenshot of the same in this complaint.
The seller has also verified that what I am saying is correct, you can view messages between me and the seller computersale.in.
We had a 3 way conference call with me, the seller, "the eBay adjuster ashish2010". In this call it was agreed that the seller would try for 3 year manufacturer warranty in few days else he will refund my money(the call audio recording from ebay.in will prove it.)
BUT THE CLAIM ADJUSTER REJECTED THE CLAIM SAYING THAT PRODUCT IS UNDER 3 YEARS MANUFACTURER WARRANTY WHITOUT GOING THROUGH THE PROOFS SUPPLIED BY ME IN THE CLAIM. I HAVE ATTACHED THE SAME PROOFS AS A ATTACHEMENT IN THIS COMPLAINT.
Please explain me why the claim was rejected wrongfully by giving false reason by the claim adjuster "ashish2010", when all the proofs were supplied to him and when on conference call the agreement was different? Also can you provide me a copy of conference call as it is recorded on eBay servers ?
I have also raised request to eBay.in customer service the reference no is - 1-[protected].
