I am struggling to process my refund via Ebay, I had purchased Blacberry Phone which FedEx Logistics misplaced/lost/stolen item and reporting this to to the seller and Ebay; There was no word of concern from seller or Ebay - who would not raise a case of Theft/Mishandling to logistics team.
They would not even consider refunding the amount through ebay beyond opening a case. I had opened this case in EBAY logistics case reference number is SR# 1-[protected] (open for 10 days without any action), post which I have called twice to the customer service toll free but everytime I receive a same answer that I will receive a call from EBAY in next 48 hrs. I am highly dissatisfied with the EBAY customer service and same was not expected by EBAY that such a big company and the processes are so weak that in takes 19 days (3 weeks) and still no the refund process is not even initiated.
Couple of Supervisors have follow-up with logistics-team who work in cognito mode not accountable for responding to the Consumer. Again Gaurav Chauhan (another supervisor requests for 48 hours).
Such online sites/Seller nexus can possibly siphon money from helpless consumers - without intervention from Consumer rights forum reigning in Resolution norms...
