[Resolved]  Ebay.in — Poor pre-sales support to customers

First of all I find that the product information provided by sellers on ebay is either incomplete or deceptive. Take for example 4 GB DDR3 ram sold by seller itstoredatascan on ebay. Picture says 1333 Mhz but product description says 1600 MHz and despite of such a conflicting info it also comes with a disclaimer from seller side that 'PLZ CHK COMPATIBILITY BEFORE ORDERING'!!!

I have written several mails to such sellers several times on ebay but sellers simply don't respond.
Finally I decide to raise my concern to ebay customer care and they gave me a cold response that unless buyer has bought the product they can not contact or fetch the seller details.

ebay simply does not have any pre-sales customer support policy which is very much required for effective and transparent business.

This is an urge to ebay to improve upon their pre-sales customer support processes and achieve higher customer satisfaction!!

ebay should moderate the sellers that
1. Sellers are providing complete information including warranty / return policy/product specifications on product page
2.Sellers are promptly responding to customer queries

ebay, don't blindly ask for order number to help you support me in response to this complaint, if you really wish to solve anything! There's no order as this is a pre-sales concern. It's left to you to introspect your polices and improve upon them.

I already raised this concern after my chat with ebay representative. There's nothing to discuss further. All you need to do is introspect and improve your pre-sales support or leave it like that. It's clear that ebay does not have any policy to provide pre-sales support to prospective customer nor you interact with the seller unless customer has bought a product from the seller. This post is to make fellow users aware of my experience.
