[Resolved]  Ebay.in — TV Product delivered not as mentioned and broken LED screen

I had bought a Sony Led TV 55 Inch from a seller through Ebay on 21st October 2016 which was to be delivered on 3rd of November . The product did not arrive till 7th and on enquiry found that it has reached Punjab instead of Chennai. Then again it was delivered on 17th November with broken Led and also the brand is not sony. It just had a sticker of sony. Then on discussion it was told that it was under insurance with DTOC and so can be claimed. then after had also sent images to ebay and seller . The ebay had tried to contact me in registered mobile and since they did not have my new number they close the claim by saying no response from buyer. Then I called them again on December 19th 2016 and reopened the issue by giving the clear images. They promised that Issue will be rectified and claim will be done. Seller then never picks the call. Every 3 days I call the ebay customer care someone new picks the call and have to explain him from scratch. Then he says issue is escalated to higher authority and it will be resolved with 2 working days. Finally after calling till 09th of January 2017 they suspended my account. Now the buying department says they cannot resolve as the account is suspended permanently so contact the other legal department. When I call them they say that they have sent a mail on susprnsion on 13th of January and they cannot reveal the reason and I have to check my mail. When I check my mail I have not received any emails from Ebay.

So now buying is saying that issue can be resolved only after the suspension is revoked and the other department is saying that your account is suspended and only buying department can help the issue.

My claim ID is 2488152 in ebay and all the calls are recorded, Iam not sure how to take it to next level. Today the seller picked up the call when I called from a different number and said that the earlier person who was incharge has left and not he cannot help.

The product is under insurance cover with DTOC.

Ebay can suspend your account any time if you raise any claim it seems. Someone can suggest for any help or is there any other way to resolve the issue
