[Resolved]  eBay India — ebay return policy

I have received Dell venue 7 with software issues. So, requested for a refund. Claimed for refund via ebay guarantee. My claim got rejected because they are asking me to go to Dell support. The product has got issues and am suffering because of ebay, it's a new product with so many problems. Finally when I got in touch with ebay customer support, they are telling me to get a scanned copy of problems in the device through dell customer care within one day, or else I can't claim a refund! Is this way ebay treats it's customers? No return policy for customers!

Dear Avikrnaskar, Thank you for sharing your concern with us.We at eBay provide 30 days of purchase protection i.e. eBay Guarantee*.But as per eBay policies products with Manufacturer warranty are excluded from eBay Guarantee* coverage as you can visit nearest Authorized service center of the Brand and get the issue resolved.As per our records the eBay guarantee claim you had filed has been completely closed as per the procedure .However, if the item that you received was dead on arrival or fake you may provide a DOA / Declaration letter from the authorized service centre to [protected]@ebay.com within 48 hrs stating the same. If you fail to provide the requested document within the stipulated time we would have to go ahead and close this case from our end.
