Eicher Motors Ltd — pathetic service provided by kolhapur service centre, manipulating the services and charging higher amount.

My complaint is regarding an issue with one of your service centre named s. S mirje & co service authorised dealer, located at kolhapur, maharashtra (Part of gat no 242, near mahatma phule spinning mill, mouje vathar tarf, vadgaon, tal - hatakanagale, kolhapur, 416112). The service center is trying to manipulate customers by billing for wrong services offered and taking un acceptable time to provide the service. We have faced heavy losses due to their pathetic service which they have offered.
Our vehicle was on the way to tamilnadu and while reaching kolhapur, it faced over heating issue, because of which we had to take it to nearby service centre, which is the one which is in kolhapur, maharashtra.
This issue of over heating was solved after approx 15 days of surrender of vehicle. Once they have confirmed us that the issue has been solved, we loaded back the vehicle with the goods and was ready for a trip to bangalore. While on the way to bangalore, in belgaum, again after 3 days of service, the vehicle faced the same issue of over heating for which the vehicle was surrendered on 22/10/2019. we tried reaching on a toll free number as kolhapur's service provider phone was not rechable and the toll free number connected us to the nearest service provider. A person from belgaum service centre, visited the site at which the vehicle was stand still and after the inspection, he informed us that the vehicle has to be taken to service centre and he cannot fix the issue there. But, he said that he can only service it after the acceptance of the same from kolhapur service provider. But the service provider of kolhapur denied and he demanded us to bring back the vehicle to kolhapur service station on the point agreed that it was service provider's fault and the vehicle will be serviced iagain without charging a single penny from us. after so many heated arguments, we left with no choice other than risking our drivers life and taking that over heating vehicle back to kolhapur. Again we had to unload our vehicle's goods and surrender the vehicle to the service center.
Despite of confirming with us on call that he will be offering service without charging us because, the service wasn't carried out properly. He forced us to pay the amount invoiced and blackmailed us of not returning the vehicle back.
1. The service provider manipulated the invoice provided by not mentioning anywhere that the vehicle was out of service center for 4 to 5 days. He recorded the odometer reading as same in both the invoice which is wrong because the vehicle had travelled for approx 250 km or more. There is no record of vehicle being out of service station for 5 to 7 days.
2. Even after service provider's fault, he blackmailed us for paying the amount of second invoice and said that he wont return our vehicle back.
3. We faced major losses with the veichle and the vehicle was hardly 2 years old and it is not accepted to face such issue.
4. The invoice consist of many service which was not informed to us and is not anywhere connected with heating issue.
5. We has to surrender our vehicle and the vehicle was under them for approc 1 month due to which we faced losses with our regulare income that we recieve.
6. Due to the service provider's mistake, we had to load and unload the goods where we faced loss of loading and unloading charges.
7. We had to pay a huge amount of money for the replacement that we had to provide for the goods transport.
8. There was a loss of diesel consumption amount for travelling in between kolhapur and belgaum.
9. Above all we faced a lot of mental issue due to the arguments we had to face because of this issue for almost 1 month.
So, in all i can feel how wrong we were to take the decision of buying eicher vehicle and i promise to never recommend this brand again to anyone. Every company gives immense attention to customer care because they know the power of word of mouth and eicher is least bothered about the same. At the end now they want us to forget everything and close the complaint. We get calls daily for closing the complaint.
