[Resolved]  Electricity Department — Dangerous high tension wires tied to our window and balcony

A few months back, the MCH people cut down an old tree which was in the middle of the road. The high tension wires that were tied to the tree and which supplied electricity to the neighboring buildings were left without any support. So they just picked up the whole bunch of wires and tied them to our balcony railing and window with the promise that they would erect 2 cement pillars and fix the wires properly. It has been six months now. Several fruitless attempts have been made to the Electricity Office but there is simply no response. We could easily untie the wires and throw them on the road, but the thought of children, pedestrians and everybody that walks on that road holds us back. We have put our children's lives at risk and live day after day hoping that some honest officer will respond some day. Is this the price we have to pay for being a good citizen? . Will somebody help?
