[Resolved]  Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited Pune — Defective Tablets

Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to bring this to your notice that i had purchased "Orofer XT" from "Religare, Amrapali, Indirapuam, Ghaziabad, UP", and while plucking out the tablet noticed that tablet was in an unusual shape and along side there was a black solid mass attached to it. By this time the patient had already consumed some of the tablets from the same leaf. I went to Religare and lodged a formal complaint, however they said that all they could do is replace and provide a new set of tablets and that the matter regarding the product quality has to be taken up separately with Emcure. I personally think that considering the seriousness of the matter it is important that the matter be brought to your notice so that appropriate action is taken, else it is likely that the problem persists and other are affected too. Also would want to know the cause and if there could be a side effect on the patient due to this problem! The sample of the defective tablet is with me Appreciate your prompt action
