Incident Summary:
On 12/11/2024, one of my friends informed me that my BGMI account had been hacked, as they had been removed from my friend list. When I attempted to log in, I found that my Twitter account had been unlinked, and my BGMI profile was no longer accessible.
I immediately contacted BGMI support through both the official website and in-game help options. Unfortunately, the responses I received were generic, copy-pasted replies that failed to address the specifics of my case. It seems my message was not properly reviewed.
Actions Taken:
Reinstallation Attempt: I reinstalled the game, but it opened a new account instead of linking to my previous profile. I deduced that the hacker had unlinked my Twitter account, which caused my original game profile not to load.
Confirmation of Profile Existence: Using the game profile IDs for both my account and the hacker’s account, I confirmed that my original account is still active. It appears the hacker blocked all my friends to hide their identity.
Suspicious Activity: I have reason to suspect that a friend of mine, Saurabh Choudhary, who previously had access to my account, might be involved in this breach. Although he denies any wrongdoing, I am providing the following details for your investigation:
