Ex Servicemen — Non receipt of form 16 -income tax

Sir, I JC-668626N ex Sub/clk Prabhu Dayal retired from ASC (S) on 30 November 2018. My PAN is AJAPD4915C. A notice has been served to me by Income tax department for non filing of ITR for the Fy 2018-19(AY 2019-20). THEY ASKED ME TO SUBMIT FORM 16 FOR THE PERIOD FROM 01 April 2018 to 30 October 2018 by 18 July2023 failing which icome tax department may pass the best judgement order and other penal consequence. The same was not provided to me by PAO OR ASC SOUTH at the time of my retirement. Therefore I request your honour to provide above form 16 forthwith to avoid any penal deductions.
