My washing machine was giving trouble and I had placed a complaint (28/07/2019) via phone with Retunenow.in a multi brand service centre which identified itself as a Samsung authorised service centre. I had issues in inlet and drain issues (error 4 and 5 as displayed on the machine). I received an sms registering the complaint (S[protected] with the technicians number saying that the technician will attend the next day. i.e 29th. The Technician from Excel Cool tech solutions came the next day and said that the inlet motor and PCB needed replacing. I had asked to check the drum alignment and drain as I felt there were issues there, but they said there was no need. 5 days and repeated phone calls later they returned to replace the parts With a bill for Rs5, 500/- which I agreed to pay. However when they replaced, I could not check the machine as there was no electricity in my flat at the time. When electricity returned an hour or so later, I tried the machine and the drain issue was worse as the water continuously drained out (Error#5). I called the same technician (Abdul) to which he said he will come the next day. Since August 4th I have been calling Abdul and his supervisor Raahil several times, and they have now stopped taking my calls. Worse still when I managed to track down the initial number of retune now.in they don't have a record of my complaint or call, inspite of me having a record on my phone. Further when I probed for their company name and address to complain, they gave me a fake one.
As its an essential appliance, the past weeks have been very inconvenient to say the least, not to mention that I feel cheated. This can be resolved by refunding the money taken for the PCB board and fixing the drain motor, at no extra service charge as its a mistake that I had called out in the first place.
